Both the food and the service can be either hit or miss, but fortunately, the food is more "hit" than "miss". If you happen to arrive when the food has just been recently been added to the steam table, the food is delicious. If the food has been sitting out for awhile, it can be greasy and flavorless. The service on the other hand, is more "miss" than "hit". The women behind the counter are kind of gruff, and rarely smile. Despite this however, I am very appreciative and grateful to the fact that they always have food that is ready to go - a big plus when you are very hungry and short on time! Perhaps this is why I keep going there. The only other thing that I wanted to mention is that this place has the tendency to draw obnoxious and selfish customers who will order several orders of food, wiping out many of the popular dishes - even though they can see there is a large line of people behind them who are waiting patiently to order their food. If this is something that would drive you crazy, then avoid going there during their busy lunch and...
Read moreThought I'd try this place after work. I read the mixed reviews and finally decided to take a shot. Well I wish I could take that back. The chow mein was BURNT giving it a burnt taste. The sweet and sour pork ribs were all sweet TOO SWEET. The general chicken is supposed to be hot and spicy. Trust me when I say that their idea of spicy is the literal opposite so forget that. The salt and pepper shrimp was not that at all. It tasted like old prefrozen shrimp and why it was all gooey worries me. This was a total waste of $15.17 including a three dollar tip for take out. Anywhere else would be far far far better. Oh and before I forget the people who work there speak very little English so please speak slowly. Not joking. I'll give it that they were not rude but it would help if they would listen closer. Definitely will not...
Read moreI have lived in Nevada for over 22+ years and absolutely 💯 love being a Nevadan. Originally we are from Souther California and we would miss the Chinese food UNTIL we found Jia's Wok. What a wonderful taste of home. The smell, even the vibes but the TASTE. Oh My Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown... the taste is uncanny. They make such goooooood food. Their 3 meat option is by far the best. I get full and go home with extra. They even have the most high lovely spirited women working there and one grumpy man. Just like back in California (just for the food) 🤣. It gets super packed with people eating in and taking out. And that there, tells you enough. It's...
