Subway — Restaurant in Reno

Me and my daughter arrived during lunch time , place was empty. Everytime we are in Reno and want to have subway we go to this place. It was anew face. And he tried to be friendly and i asked him for their special meal for 6.99 with an regular sub not special one and mine just the hot honey 6inch just sub and we also had nacho footlong and 3 cookies. It comes to charges he charged me 2 subs for 6.69 each and for deal he charged extra for a small drink and chips. Sandwiches were good, cookies were not from today , not soft at all. Looks like he was selling the old cookies. He asked me if i need my receipt , the way he was charging putting every single item and total was more than what i thought i asked him for receipt. He put his tip container in the front but i had a feeling he did something wrong so i dint tip him he pulled it away. When i sat down and see the charges that he charged me extra for chips and soda which was 3.19 plus tax not a huge deal but only thing is y are you advertising if you are not giving it away. I asked him and he said this is how this is. I said ok but i will complain about it. He dint seems serious. We sat down i was on the phone he tried to call and said he ll give my money back. But its not about that its all about why you charged at the first place when i am telling you i want that deal of yours. I am in food business for 15 years own pizza places. I know what he was about to do. And if you dont want to give that dont post on your windows. No body knows. Right? The gentleman who helped was a trooper and a very kind soul. This place has had no AC for over a year. Walked in today in 90° weather and it had to be 105° in that building. As I was getting my order by the time I paid I was pouring sweat. The owner needs to get a grip and put an AC of some sort in that place because his workers should not have to suffer because he's lazy and cheap. I am beyond mad because I feel sorry for the people who have to work in that heat. I work outside for a living and it was at least 10 or 15° hotter in that building than it was outside. Not to mention no air flow other than ceiling fans which don't do anything. Bunch of bull crap. I will visit again only to check if the AC is on for those poor people. If not I will definitely be pulling a Karen even more than I am right now and be going above the owner's head to get those people an AC. Horrible owner who is selfish clearly. Unbelievable. I suggest you get them a swamp cooler or an air conditioner of some sort before one of your workers dies of heat stroke then you have a bigger problem...

The food was good as always but the staff needs some help! If you have a trainee is it smart to have them make sandwiches by themselves? NO, why because they don't know what they are doing... you should have a staff member showing them and watching what they are supposed to do and then you should have them do it on there own with a watchful eye... This poor kid was trembling because he not only was giving me the wrong information he was being told differently by the staff on what to do while they are making their own sandwiches... I understand that its lunch hour and they are busy but its no excuse for bad service... This place is also set up very badly they have tables in front of there serving areas and you have to lean really far or yell really loud to be heard... this place has a drive through so I would avoid going inside at all cost and go through the drive through and don't forget to check your receipt because I ordered 2 kids meals and 2 6inch sandwiches, 3 cookies and 1 large soda.... so instead of dealing with the staff any longer I decided to...
