Around 2:10 to 2:20pm on Sunday 10/4, I bought from this Burger King location a whopper with cheese, four crispy chicken sandwiches, and one spicy crispy chicken sandwich. After I was given my order, I drove 10 minutes home to give my children their lunch and found out that one of the crispy chicken sandwiches were missing. The spicy chicken was meant for me, but I ended up giving it to one of the kids that didn't mind eating spicy. I tried to call Burger King but they didnt pick up the phone, so I drove 10 minutes back to tell them what happened. Burger king was only opened by drive thru, and I was force to wait in a long line. After I explained to the lady on the intercom what happened, she told me to drive to the second window. I drove up and gave her my receipt and she asked where my order was, and that she wanted to see my order. I explained to her that I left the food with my kids for them to eat their lunch, and if she didnt believe what I told her then she is welcome to check her cameras and see if they indeed gave me only three crispy chicken sandwiches instead of the four that I paid for, but she acted like I was a liar. I told her forget it, I'll just write this review to let others know how humiliated I felt. She kept my receipt and said thank you sarcastically as if she didn't care about my bad review. I have never seen such poor customer service. My time is worth much more than a $5 sandwich, and I simply wanted them to correct their mistake. Not only did they not give me what I paid for, I had to drive back and forth and then wait in a long line to explain to them that they had messed up, and then the lady talked to me as if I was lying and wanted to cheat them out of a sandwich. I trusted Burger King enough to accept my order without digging through the whole bag to see if they would get my order right and also not sit there and waste time for the people who were waiting in line behind me. If I have to check my order every time before I leave to make sure it is right then I would rather not order from such a place. Although I live in Renton, I'll never go to that...
Read moreStopped at this location one week ago to get a chicken sandwich. Just a craving, one item so I went through the drive through. I had 3 cars ahead of me. Two at the pay/ pickup windows one at the intercom. After 10min of just sitting and multiple vehicles lining up behind me I shut off my car. A few minutes later the car at the intercom couldn't get a response had to walked up to the nearest window to inquire about the long holdup and was told the first car had no money and was waiting for someone to pay. What?! Move them to the side, keep the line going . I don't know if that was truly the reason, I hope not but regardless
After 15 min plus I'm told " I will be right with you at the intercom " Did not order anything. After Over 20 minutes wait , I no longer wanted a sandwich just out of the line.
Yesterday we decided to stop and get lunch. We orderd 4 items. Two hamburgers with onions, chicken sandwich and chicken fries. Hamburgers had no onions, chicken fries so hard and dry we gave them to the dog. The only thing that was good was the chicken sandwich !
It took two visits, one 20min + and 2 hamburgers (not the way we orderd them) and some petrified chicken fries (Dog treats) to get one good chicken sandwich.
Highly Recommend Avoiding this Renton location! Drive the extra miles to...
Read moreUpdate: Gotta lower the score from 5 to 3. They say they're open at 6AM, but whoever is their opener is perpetually late and/or simply lazy. Tried to go there several times early in the AM on my way to work. Going inside resulted in near yelling to get someone to come up front. And they had major attitude like they definitely resented me coming in. Waiting for the Drive Thru is similarly a lost cause. In fact, once I waited for nearly 10 minutes and I didn't see the "Drive Thru Open" sign turn on until I left the parking lot. I saw someone inside staring at my car as I drove away. I'm convinced they were waiting until I left before turning on the sign. Seriously, if they hate their job that much, they should quit. And whoever is the manager needs to get their staff to open ON TIME! You might even try changing the opening time to 5 AM. You're missing out on A LOT of early morning business thanks to your terrible morning staff!
Previous Post: Good food and good service. One of the better fast food places I've visited. Oh. And their ham and egg croissants are yummy!
Overall: They have some good employees there, especially managers and assistant managers, team leads, etc. But they need to get better staff for the...
