A neglected trail and trailhead. Limited gravel parking. No fee to park. Paved parking is available at nearby Liberty and Cedar River Parks. A pedestrian bridge connects to the trailhead. Trail is paved. View of the river from some areas of the trail. We saw salmon from the pedestrian bridge to Liberty Park. Some benches. Picnic tables at Riverview Park Picnic Shelter. There are some markers along the trail each indicating 1/4 mile, but I don't know the function. I suppose you could count them to figure out how far you went, but actual mile markers would be more useful. A lot of litter especially near abandoned and occupied encampments. No restrooms. The restrooms at the Riverview Park Picnic Shelter location along the trail were fenced off. There are restrooms across the pedestrian bridge at the Cedar River Park but we didn't see them.
