My first visit to Reston's Grill Kabob located at Plaza America at the right end of the plaza. The restaurant from the outside has seating for customers who prefer the ambiance of the plaza's professional tech companies. However, the inside of the store had an abundance of seats and tables and high-chairs for over thirty people, of which I had to guess. The atmosphere is slightly dark, although on a sunny day, the outside light didn't submerge the interior sufficiently. The lightning overhead is okay when seated, but cats many reflections with a yellowish tint. When you order, you presented with the option of an associate or a digital kiosk. I went with the person to person ordering. I ordered the number 7, which covers with a chicken beef combo with a salad and two roots of rice. I'm familiar with a similar Grill Kabob in Herndon, which is an open kitchen that customers can view the preparation of their orders. At first, I was disappointed that my order was taking long, but I realized that ahead of me was a large order prior to my arrival. But my disappointment subsided when my meal was placed at my table because it was packed with a lot, I mean a lot of food. So much so that I was not able to eat it all in one sitting. I imagined I was eating a meal that could possibly serve the people. And the food, week that goes without saying: it was great, better than expected. The success on the table that is used for the salad I used for dipping sauce for the plate sized pita bread. I thought I was royalty because the food, the service, was awesome. The only site spot during my visit was a woman and her rambunctious child who was making lots of noise while she monopolized one of the associates with packing her picnic basket. She ordered so much food that she needed help packing it. The associates get high marks for their helping out with that. But overall, the Grill Kabob is definitely a worthwhile visit for the proportion of food served. I definitely recommend Reston's Plaza America's Grill Kabob. Take my...

Let’s go back to a week ago—I mistakenly placed an order at the wrong location, then at the correct one. The staff went above and beyond, communicating with their sister restaurant to resolve the issue. Unbeknownst to them, I had already placed the same order twice to avoid any confusion, hoping they'd refund the incorrect one. When I arrived at the correct store, the woman who assisted me was incredibly sweet and suggested I reach out to the owner. She even offered to call him when her shift ended to explain what happened. Unfortunately, the call wasn’t a priority until the following week. When I finally reached out to the owner, he acknowledged the issue and promised to address it.
Two or three days went by, and while I was still craving their AMAZING food, I hadn’t yet received the refund. I wasn’t upset, since it was my mistake, but I still wanted to try something new. I placed another order, this time opting for a new side, as the chickpea curry was bussin last time! When I arrived to pick it up, I noticed a new face hard at work in the kitchen. I asked, "Are you the owner by chance?" He said yes, so I explained the issue from the previous week. He sincerely apologized and asked me to leave my information. Needless to say, as we were enjoying our chicken and beef platter with curried spinach, he personally rectified the situation and left a kind message with our order.
Just WOW, Grill Kabob! If you go above and beyond with customer service, no one should be surprised by the authentic taste and high quality of your food.
Thank you for helping resolve...
Read moreThey always get the order wrong, The wait staff is often rude and the owner is shady. We made an order at 8:30pm got home by 8:50 and realized the order was wrong, we call the staff and ask for a refund since we would not be able to get back there before closing. They reassured us multiple times that since we were regulars and ALWAYS brought the food back in the past that we would just get a refund and did NOT have to provide any proof or return the food. Two days go by and I still do not get a refund, I call and am told AGAIN that I do not need to bring back the food (it was still in our fridge disgustingly enough) and I will receive a refund. Four more days go by and I receive no refund or confirmation, I call the store for a THIRD time and am met with rude wait staff telling me I am supposed to call the owner (some how I was supposed to magically have his cell number?). They of course “forget” to let me know. I call the owner and am now told I have to provide proof that the food was made incorrectly. The staff is apparently insisting that they made it correctly after admitting to me TWICE that they have consistently gotten the order wrong and after guaranteeing I would get a full refund without providing proof. I also conveniently can’t get in contact with them until a week later when they know I no longer have the food/proof. I offered multiple times to bring the food back and find some type of compromise and I was met with unprofessionalism and blatant disrespect. Overall, this situation was handled so poorly. Too bad, we used to tip a lot and get take out twice a week. Guess we’ll take our...
