I am not one to leave reviews, and especially not bad ones but I feel like it needs to be posted as this is my 4th time giving this place a chance, and I will not be back again. Every time I’ve been here, you can smell that behind the bar is not cleaned properly or well. The rest of the restaurant looks rather clean, but the patio does not. We ordered the crabcake and buffalo cauliflower bites for our appetizers. We ended up sending the crabcake back because it was so terrible. The buffalo cauliflower bites tasted as if they were refrigerated overnight, taken out, microwaved, and sent to us. We asked our waitress about the five dollar taco Tuesday deal which she said she would come back and let us know if they could offer it for our table because she said it was only for the bar usually. When she came back 10 minutes later, we asked about the taco Tuesday deal, and she seemingly looked flustered and ran away saying she would put the tacos in. (Which we never ordered, Was just wondering about the taco Tuesday deal) she came back a few minutes later apologizing saying she thought we were a different table. So, we put in the order for two short rib tacos, and two fish tacos with avocado. They came out shortly after, the short rib was fine. The fish tacos a little better so we ordered two more fish tacos- after about 20 minutes, she came over and asked if the tacos came over, which they didn’t. After waiting another 25 minutes, she came over and cleared the table and I asked for the check and if our tacos were ever coming. She then said she thought we already ate them and said she would check with the kitchen, after returning she said they were ready but cold so they’re re-making them. They came out about 10 minutes later, and THOSE were great. (Since they were made fresh unlike everything else) we were there from 6-8 mostly sitting around waiting. I thought they were dead because it was a Tuesday night, but once we left Dryft across the street was slammed and same with the outdoor middle bar.
I know this is extremely long but worth the read. This is pretty on par with the previous visits + the last time I was here there was a piece of GLASS in my fiancées meatballs. We did get a free drink and app, but...
Read moreFood really wasn't good for the price for brunch. They ran out of waffles at noon-They started at 10 so that tells me they didn't have enough batter or only make a limited amount. They basically only had tacos. Not good ones either.
Everything else was only egg, minimal meat, no bacon, no sausage, either on an english muffin or tortilla. The tortilla wasn't warmed, was store bought, tasted defrosted and was too doughy - like not cooked or warmed throughly. English muffin wasn't toasted.
Bartender thought we were with 2 other people and put us all on one ticket. We stayed getting food, but they were auctioning it off to us and they gross guys beside us that we were not with. We we're told all that food was for the two guys beside us. So we have then all the plays in front of us. They didn't mention that they didn't order that much. So we sat there for a while without food although we order before the guys beside us. Bartender apologized. We were ok with that. Easy mistake. But then he asked us if we wanted the ones the two other guys haven't touched......uhm no, those guys were gross.
Overall bartender was good. I think a discount for the mess up would've gone a long way but he didn't offer.
The food was not worth it. Seems like they advertise an all you can eat brunch but SEVERELY limit the menu and don't offer much for breakfast food without charging extra.
Mission, bacon is brunch, waffles are brunch, french toast is brunch. These should not be an extra charge. If you don't want to offer those breakfast items, don't have a brunch special.
Seems like your brunch is all the leftovers from the week put in a nasty cold uncooked tortilla masked with a lot of salsa.
That's shameful and sad because usually your food is good. But that brunch was AWFUL.
I do not suggest this place for a brunch special. Go somewhere else, pay less and get actually...

Our foodie quest continues, and today’s stop? Mission Beach House Bar and Grill—a spot with potential, but let’s just say it was… fine. Not mind-blowing, not tragic—just okay. But hey, let’s dive into the delicious (and not-so-delicious) details!
🌟 Service: 10/10 – These Folks Get It! Shoutout to the rockstar bartender who was quick, friendly, and actually explained how their all-you-can-eat breakfast works (because yes, it’s not a buffet—you order small plates made fresh, which we LOVE). No sad, soggy bacon sitting under a heat lamp here!
🌴 Vibes: Beachy & Bright (Even in the Rain!) Located inside a hotel, this place has floor-to-ceiling windows facing the ocean. Even on a gloomy, rainy morning, the view was chef’s kiss 🌊. If you’re gonna eat basic food, at least do it with a million-dollar backdrop, right?
🍳 The Food: A Tale of Two Plates The Eggs? PERFECTION. Light, creamy, and exactly how we like ‘em. 👏 The Meatball? GARLIC HEAVEN. Packed with flavor, swimming in a bright, well-seasoned tomato sauce. 🧄❤️ Everything Else? Meh. Under-seasoned, forgettable. We wanted to hug the chef for the eggs but also whisper “babe, where’s the salt? for the rest.
💸 Value: Not Bad! At $20 per person for all-you-can-eat, it’s a solid deal—especially with those ocean views.
🚗 Parking: A Cautionary Tale DO. NOT. PARK. IN. THE. GARAGE. $16?! Absolutely not. There’s plenty of street parking, and on a nice day, the walk along the beach is way more enjoyable than a parking fee that costs almost as much as your meal.
Final Verdict: Come for the service, eggs, meatball, and views—stay for the unlimited coffee and ocean breeze. Just bring your own Adobo and park smarter than we did. 😉
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐✨ (3.5/5) – A decent beachside bite with...
