Let’s face it, McDonald's is a household name, and for good reason! It’s the go-to spot for burgers, fries, and those irresistible shakes that can brighten any day. However, my recent visit to the McDonald's on West Casmalia St in Rialto left me with mixed feelings.
First off, I appreciate that this location is locally owned and operated. Supporting local businesses is important, and I always root for them to succeed. Unfortunately, it seems like this particular branch is facing some operational hurdles. My experiences, especially through the drive-thru, hinted at a team that might be a bit stretched thin.
I decided to venture inside once, thinking it would be a nice change of pace. However, I quickly realized that the drive-thru seemed to take precedence over in-store customers. I found myself waiting longer than expected, which was a bit frustrating. The ambiance inside didn’t help either; it felt more like a high school cafeteria than the clean, inviting space I associate with McDonald's. There was a noticeable amount of trash and food debris that could definitely use some attention.
As for the food, well, it’s McDonald's! You know what you’re getting - classic flavors that hit the spot when you’re in the mood for a quick bite. The prices are definitely wallet-friendly, which is always a plus in today’s economy.
In summary, if you’re in the area and just need a quick McDonald's fix, the drive-thru will serve you well. But if you’re hoping for a pleasant dining experience inside, you might want to consider your options or be prepared for a less-than-ideal atmosphere. Here’s hoping they can improve the cleanliness and service soon, as I’d love to see this...
Read moreFor the first time in a long time I had a great experience eating inside a Mc Donald’s and I feel the guy who was working is the reason. His name was Adonai. He started off by making eye contact and greeting us verbally with a smile as we walked in the door - - asking if we’d like him to take our order at the register (instead of the kiosk we walked up to - to place our order), but we said no thanks and continued on. And he continued thoroughly cleaning all the tables, stools, benches, and chairs throughout the already tidy & fresh looking dining room. Then we walked up to one of the tables he had just cleaned and began to sit down - and to our surprise, he offered to dry the tabletop off since he had just cleaned it and it was a little bit wet still… once again, he went out of his way to be helpful - UNLIKE ANY - and I mean ANY OTHER FAST FOOD OR Restaurant worker I’ve encountered in YEARS. Especially at a Mc Donald’s - where the customers are usually pushy, insanely messy, and often rude. When it came time to get our food, he was cleaning on the opposite side of the dining room - but stopped what he was doing and made his way over to the pick up counter to make sure we had everything we needed - as well as being so helpful as to carry one of the drinks I didn’t have enough hands to carry to the table. I know all of these things are - I’d assume - part of what’s expected of him during a regular shift here at Mc Donald’s - but like I pointed out - it’s been years since we’ve experienced anything close to this type of Amazing Customer Service! THANKS...
Read moreLet's be honest, does McDonald's really need an introduction? It's the OG fast-food chain, the king of burgers, fries, and those oh-so-tempting shakes. You pretty much know what you're getting - the classic McDonald's experience!
However, the McDonald’s located at 1173 W Casmalia St in Rialto, CA, appears to have some operational challenges to address. Although it is locally owned and operated - which is commendable in principle - my experiences there, primarily via the drive-thru, suggested that the staff may be somewhat understaffed or overextended.
I ventured inside once to use the kiosk, and the experience wasn't the best. It felt like the drive-thru was the priority, leaving those of us inside waiting a while for our orders. And, I have to be honest, the interior wasn't exactly sparkling. It reminded me of an unsupervised high school cafeteria, with a noticeable amount of trash and food debris around.
The food itself? Well, it's McDonald's. It tasted like, well, McDonald's. No surprises there. The prices are definitely budget-friendly, which is always a plus. Overall, the service was just okay.
If you're craving a quick and cheap McDonald's fix and don't mind using the drive-thru, this location will do the trick. But, if you're planning on dining inside, be prepared for a less-than-stellar ambiance. Hopefully, they'll address the cleanliness and improve the in-store...
