I was walking and shopping in housewares when an employee literally stood in front of me and stopped me in my tracks so I went around her. As I walked further into the aisle she did it again, I walked around her and when she left the Isle I started to let my daughter know my frustrations. And then out of nowhere Keisha the employee came back into the aisle and started aggressively asking me if I was talking about her at this point I asked her if she worked here and she repeatedly told me five times " why you got something to say to me" all I kept asking her as if she worked here. I realized after her repetitive comments I needed a manager and I demanded her manager. At this point I'm explaining to the manager what it happened and the manager ask Keisha the employee to walk away and leave but Keisha decided to get in my face about 8 in and aggressively let me know that she was not about to walk away because this was her area that she is supposed to work. At this point she is yelling at me, it looks like she's about to hit me and my daughter and I both asked her to walk away and get out of my face. She did not! This is not appropriate behavior for somebody that works and customer service. I did let her know that she was being ghetto and she apparently took it as I was racist. That was definitely not the case, she was being combative aggressive and completely out of line and most likely I'll never shop here again because nobody wants to get verbally abused by employees when you're trying to spend your hard-earned money, places like this don't...
Read moreThis is by Far the worst Burlington store. I have gone to this one on two occasions and the first time it took 28 minutes to reach the checkout counter. They have 12 checkout lanes but only had two open. On several transactions they both were huddled on one register, God knows why? It felt like an eternity. There was no sense of urgency at all nor any sense of empathy for those of us tired of being in a long line.
There were also three other employees in the background, behind the counter cleaning and I assume tiding up. Which shouldn't that be done when it is slower?
Then the manager joins the huddle and they take an eternity to figure out whatever they were stumped with. As a General Manager at a Retail myself, that's where your organizational skills should shine, when you've got a long line of customer there to make your business. Yet, the manager was giggling and chatting with the employees while 12+ annoyed customers stood there.
Never have I ever written a review like this one but with today's second visit I had to say my peace and Never go back to this Burlington AGAIN, EVER!
Horrible experience and Horrible waiting for nothing... Very Sad because my family and I have always valued Burlington and felt were valued as...
Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! I just spent 20 min looking through unorganized empty racks to be greeted by a 1 hour and 20 min line with a single cashier out of 12 registers. To top it all off when I asked the manager if there was anything she could do to speed this up she gave me an attitude and said she had 1 cashier assigned today. Is it not her job to see what needs to be done and coordinate employee's to do so? I can only imagine how the poor cashier felt being the only person working as you hear 3 or more people on the walkie talkies laughing in the back of the store doing nothing to remedy the situation in the front. Needless to say this was a disrespectful, unpleasant and inexcusable performance from your managerial staff. Not to mention all the revenue I seen walk out due to a line that wasn't moving with a single cashier that seems to be the only person working as the Manager went to hide in the almost 2 hours it took for me to reach...
