Don’t go here if you want a keratin treatment or any hair service professionally done. The salon manager colored my hair black (what I asked for) before the keratin treatment. This ultimately lightened my hair turning my hair from dyed black to a chocolate brown. Disappointing. I knew this of course and I even told her I was surprised to see her coloring my hair first before the keratin treatment. She promised that it wouldn’t lighten my hair and that there is a “technique” she can do in order for that not to happen. What a joke. On top of all of this, the salon manger was in a rush the entire time. I even had to tell her that she missed a part of the back of my head that still had black dye on it after she had shampooed and conditioned my hair. I got the black dye all over the tips of my fingers since it was starting to itch, and that’s how I noticed I still had a huge chunk of dye in my hair. She washed and blow dried my hair again of course, but I still thought it was a bit off for her to do that. She also made me wait an hour and a half with the hair dye still on my head before she washed it out the first time. She was taking in clients who had no appointment and prioritizing their needs. She also made me wait in the waiting area for about half an hour too. So unprofessional, but the sad part is when she finally got around to doing my hair, she was calling other workers over to show them how to do a keratin treatment on a client. I did not agree to be made an example of. She never asked me, but wouldn’t have minded so much if she actually did the keratin treatment the correct way. Lol. After the color and keratin treatment was over, she suggested me to get another keratin treatment in about a months time, because the thickest part of my hair needed more treatment apparently, but I’m pretty sure it’s just because she didn’t do a good job. I’m never coming back to this store. If you want a stylist who knows what they’re doing, I suggest going to the Ulta in Victoria Gardens. On a side note, they take forever to answer customer service calls and they were extremely rude to me over the phone. I did nothing to these women. I even gave the salon manger a tip, which I really shouldn’t have. I thought she was cool she just didn’t know what...
Read moreBeen a long time since I put energy into writing a diss aka bad review anywhere. I’ve learned to no longer constantly let stuff make me put my energy into trigger-fingered scathing reviews, but not right before Christmas this time. I’d recommend not coming here during the last-minute Christmas shopping timeframe. The employees must not all handle the Christmas rush well … tonight my hubby and I walked in cheerfully to pick up my order. The one handling the pickup was the light-skinned presumably Black woman with braids who we’ve met before and was a lot nicer when she thought we were buying fragrances.
So there was a girl in front of me who was not actually in line, but she was politely asked by the pick-up lady if she was picking up. When it was my turn, I wasn’t greeted at all, just glared at and asked “Picking up?” I confirmed and because this area has always had poor reception at least for Verizon, my pickup order email took a while to load the barcode, and I did inform her of that. She said nothing. I’d felt her negative energy immediately when I walked up anyway. Once it loaded, all I received before my husband and I left was one line: “Last name?” No “Merry Christmas”, “Thank you”, not even a smile or parting statement of any kind once she slid my bag towards me without even looking at me. My husband told me when we left that when I told her my email wouldn’t load, her saw that she actually rolled her eyes, but I was too busy looking for the email to show up to notice.
Lol if you don’t like dealing with/ serving crowds and busy days during the holidays, work in a different industry. Customers that have nothing to directly do with your frustration don’t need to be met with mean or passive aggressive energy. And I shouldn’t only be treated well if I’m assumed to be buying fragrances, even though I did this time anyway: my pick-up order was a cologne gift for my husband. Do better Renaissance. I rarely come to this location and if I do it’s usually curbside, and if the one close to me doesn’t have what I want. North Fontana has always been consistently nicer. I’m going to have to avoid this one and Rancho more, as I’ve had negative experiences...
Read moreHad an appt to get my hair done at 3:00 pm. I get there 10 minutes early I check in the sweet girl says you can take a seat I’ll let her know you’re here, I sat down. 50-55 minutes later!!! Still haven’t been helped not a peep from any employees towards me. So I got up and went to the counter and got asked do you need help? I’m like you know what can you please cancel my appt, I have been sitting here almost an hour and I just want to cancel. She said sure thing! While looking at the other salon workers like they are confused. I said ty and left. I called corporate and made a complaint because first visit I had they called me approximately 2-3 hours that they had to cancel me then today this happens. I have an event tomorrow there’s no way for me to get my hair done any where else 🤷‍♀️. And I lost the 5x points! For today. Update: Sarah the manager of the salon called me approximately a week later explaining that the master colorist had told her what happened that day but decided to call me a week later. Explained that I sat there for an hour because the person I had an appointment with was translating. So instead of letting me know that they were helping someone else I sat there with no communication for a hour. Offered me a discount and pretty much said sorry. The funny thing about this is when I got up to cancel my appointment no one was translating for anyone the girl who checked me in was getting her hair done by another girl that worked there. Poor excuses...
