Absolutely delicious, and the owner is beyond sweet and hospitable! My husband and I ordered mac and cheese, meatloaf, and a red velvet cheesecake—every single bite was incredible. That cheese pull on the mac and cheese? Unreal.

Am I lactose intolerant? Yes. Did I absolutely devour that mac and cheese anyway? Also yes. Was it worth it? 10000%. Will I be coming back for more? Without a doubt.

I completely forgot to take a picture of the cake because we annihilated it before I even had the chance. 🤣

We stopped by at around lunch time on a Sunday did have to wait a little bit since they were fulfilling a bunch of orders before us, which is totally understandable! We stopped by without ordering ahead, but honestly, the short wait was nothing compared to the flavors we got in return. 🤤

This is a true family-owned business, run with love and care. There aren’t dozens of employees rushing orders out—just the owner and one other person in the back (at least from what we could see), putting their heart into every plate. So if there’s a little wait, trust me, it’s worth it. Places like this deserve all the support because they’re serving up more than just food—they’re serving passion, tradition, and soul. 💕💕💕 Sooooooo I can not even stress how in love I am! I had previously ordered the Banana Pudding Cheesecake because they were out of the Banana Pudding Bowls..... and the next day I was back buying TWO MORE SERVINGS because I was immediately hooked! I then decided to order an entire BP cheesecake to serve this past Easter and ooooooh my gosh. I wish I had snapped a picture of it before it was cut because I went upstairs for only a few minutes and when I came back it was gone!!!😭😭😭 If I hadn't had my sister grab me a slice to put up, I wouldn't have even gotten any at all!!! Everyone LOVED IT!!!! It was the first dessert gone and I will absolutely be ordering this again. Please go get you a slice because I promise you, you wont be disappointed. 10 out of 10 stars for sure!!!...

Love love love this place! Believe it or not it is hard to find good soul food in the Southland. This place has been open for a year and clearly a hidden gem. I have them 5 stars because they deserve it! Latrice and her mom is super nice! Everything is so good! I don’t even like homemade banana pudding but I promise you this is the only one I will eat!
