I want to reiterate poor customer service. I am new to the Flossmoor area and was looking for a top quality nail shop to solicit. Clearly I will keep searching. I wanted a pedicure and fill in. I was told the person who does pedicures was unavailable for the day and I could not get one, which is understandable. Thereafter she quoted me a price for a fill-in based on my standard length nails. I have never heard of pricing for a fill in based on the length of nails. Typically pricing is based on the type of service I select. I was then given a price of $35 dollars. The nail tech then began questioning me back to back and spouting off multiple requirements as if she was trying to disqualify me from obtaining their services. As a result of the belligerent questioning and rudely stated requirements, I felt as if my business was not welcome at this shop. As a result I decided to calmly leave and told the nail tech to have a good day.
Generally, as a rule of thumb you want to make all customers feel welcome. Especially in a service based business where there are numerous options available. As a customer I have the right to decide where I spend my hard earned money which is why I exercised my right to calmly leave. I am not sure why the response states that I stormed off, that is simply not true. Furthermore after reading other reviews I have noticed that this business has a history of defended not so great customer service and has no intentions of bettering themselves.
Also, not sure why the technician ASSumed I did not have cash on hand, even if I didnāt, a trip to the ATM is not that much of an inconvenience for someone who wants their nails serviced. I feel that the service at this shop was not up to my standards and very unprofessional. I also feel that the fact the she āconfrontedā me while I was in my personal vehicle in the parking lot needs to be addressed. This is totally unprofessional and could be considered assault, as well as very dangerous as you never know how someone will react and defend their personal space. Maybe she was having a bad day.

The lady Kim was extremely rude and I asked if she would sanitize her tools or use new ones after I noticed that she was starting on my feet and did not sanitize them. She responded, "No, if you want new ones, bring your own". I don't have a problem with bringing my own tools, however, there was no reason to be hostile and constantly repeat the same thing as well as talking in a foreign language that no one understand but you and your colleague. She also continued to repeat in an aggressive tone that she had been in business for over 20 years and was not going to accept a client telling her how the run her shop. One of the ladies looked at me and shook her head and responded, "That's a shame and that she would not be back". I politely said, "Never mind" to her and proceeded to leave. He had a very hostile tone with me and my daughter. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THAT PLACE AGAIN AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GO THERE. She is not only rude, but the shop is unsanitary. The worse part is she think it is okay because as she stated once again that she has been in business for over 20 years and if customers want me to use new tools or sanitized tools, bring your own. Who does refills for 100? And if you even charged that amount and knew what you were doing Iād understand. However you are lazy and donāt know how to do a damn thing. In addition to this you lack professionalism, you are extremely classless, loud, disrespectful rude, lack customer service skills and you smell . Make sure you wash your * before to spread germs. Your smell is as nasty as your attitude. You need to be shut down. A bad review is the least I could do.
