Kenny's Ribs & Chicken — Restaurant in Rich Township

My husband I are originally from Chicago and whenever we go back - we always get Kenny’s BarBQue to eat at the hotel and then freeze to take home. For the last four years - no problem...however - in August 2018...I was there along and decided to still take food home. I pick them up - (2 pans of ribs tips). Got them, immediately frozen them along with freeze bags and double the double bags. They were aweful- fed both pans to the deer. However, we decided to try them again on January 12, 2019. We purchased 2 (half pans)...again went through the whole process of keeping them fresh since we were flying out the next morning. When we got back to Texas on that Sunday - we decided to let one thaw out....Again, it smell like raw meat uncooked. I went to taste it and it was racked. My husband try it and he said that it smelted like raw meat that had been left out and went bad and then cook......Ended Up feeding them to the deer - so my Texas deer has had a total of approximately atelier $170.00 worth of meat. Will not try them again...enough is enough. Oh, I came them one star for their bottled...

I ordered from here about a month and the food was GREAT! Large tip, meat fell off the bone and all of it cooked and seasoned perfectly. I've order a few times before that great order and the food was decent. Today was the exact opposite! All of the meat is undercooked!!! Tough, doesn't come off the bone easily and in some cases at all. You can just pull on the meat and just see it's not cooked all the way. You can really make someone sick feeding them undercooked pork. Tried to call to let them know and the number on Google goes to another Kenny's. I was able to put in my complaint to the app I put my order it through, which was GrubHub and they were good. Other reviews on here have not been great, a lot of 1 stars lately, and to only be at a 3.2 out of 5 and falling (because I'm definitely giving 1 star only because I can't give a zero or negative star) is embarrassing. It's sad that we have to have places like this on our neighborhood that just don't care and are too lazy and/or incompetent to serve...

I would not recommend using Groupon here. The food is only satisfying if you pay original price for it. I honestly can't tell you guys why the food is different when using Groupon but it just is. It almost seems as if they set aside all skimpy and underdeveloped(small) wings specifically for Groupon users. Whenever I pay full price, things are great. Whenever I use Groupon the portions get smaller and the quality becomes horrible. The fries are old and overcooked and drowning in BBQ. The wings are way smaller than they usually are. The mac and cheese tasted like it was too bitter according to the cook and he/she put season salt in it afterwards which was a huge mistake because it didn't quite blend well. It had a slight season salt taste to it. Everything is always just wrong when using Groupon. If you're going to give this place a try, it may be a wise decision to pay full price but based on my personal experience and the reviews from other people that I just read, even that may...
