Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Rich Township

I visited for the first time with my daughter today. She wanted to go so bad because the only location that she knew of was in Indianapolis. We traveled 40 minutes to this location because it was the closest one we found. I ordered a Bahama Mama with the Sante Fe Chicken quesadilla, and she ordered the Detox Island with the Avocado Grilled Cheese. I was pleasantly surprised that it came with a side item. The smoothies were delicious and staff was nice. It wasn’t busy at all when we arrived. I waited till I got home to eat my quesadilla, and was extremely disappointed. Looking at it, it looked full, but as soon as I touched it, it was flat. I went to open it and there was hardly ANY chicken or toppings. I really paid for a toasted tortilla with cheese. My daughter was very sad to see because that is not what she is used to at other locations she’s been to. I just wish they would take more pride in their other menu items. THE OWNER NEEDS TO ENABLE TIPPING ON THE APP FOR THIS LOCATION!!!

I come here almost every morning before work, and am always greeted by the wonderful employees here. They are kind, accommodating, and extremely hard-working!

That said, I always have to BRING CASH TO TIP, as this seems to be the only Tropical Smoothie store that I know of that does not allow tipping through the app. The employees here work so hard, and they do their jobs so well! Yet, they only receive a fraction of the tips that they would (should) be getting if the owner of this location cared enough to allow this happen through the app. Seriously, there is another TS store about 10 minutes away that has somehow managed to figure it out…

Regardless, I look forward to my next visit here. I hope, someday soon, the employees here can get the tips that they so...

I've been greatly enjoying the Triple Berry Oat and Sunrise Sunset smoothies, and there are a few more I plan on trying. Most of the smoothie options have banana in them, which makes those items a dealbreaker for me. I haven't tried most of the food yet, but the Cuban sandwich is absolutely delicious. There was a problem with the mobile app not giving me credits for my purchases toward their rewards program, but I think they have ironed out the glitches now. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would like if the smoothies came in different sizes.
