I am a very long time customer of Chick Fil A. I have been to countless of locations.
I am writing this review after many times of having bad customer experiences at this location.
What I experienced here this morning it sealed it. I will write it details and everyone can read it for themselves.
About 10:50am on Monday morning of Oct. 31st I was picking up some orders at Target on Plano, in the same shopping center that Chick Fil A is located at. I have my 3 daughters in the back seats who were thirsty. So I thought let me just make a mobile coffee order at Chick Fil A here and get them some water.
I ordered through the app and went through the drive through. The woman on the speaker asked me for my order and I said I just put in under my name. She didn't confirm the order like the other places usually do. She told me to go ahead to the window.
I arrived at the window. There came the woman who was representing the Chick Fil A Drive Through experience for this location. She has short gray hair and wears glasses. The experience went like this.
She: "Hi, please hang on a second. Your coffee is coming." Me: "thank you! I'm sorry do you think I could also have 3 small cups of water for my daughters in the back seats?" She immediately showed her attitude with me: "Ugh, okay! But you should have ordered it before!" Then turned to her team and told them to get the water. Me: "I am very sorry."
She was yelling at this point: "You should have ordered it beforehand so we would know because what you're doing is that you are holding up the line!"
Me: "I am so sorry! Very sorry!"
She: "Look behind you! You see all those cars? You're stopping the line! You should have said that you wanted water when you ordered!"
Me: "Yeah.. I ordered through the app.."
She was walking towards the car behind me. I don't know what she was saying to that customer.
She walked back to me: "Okay you said you ordered through the app. But you need to tell them when you are at the speaker that you wanted water!"
At this point I'm already looking away because I couldn't believe in what I experienced.
My daughters were thirsty. I simply asked for 3 small cups of water. I get it. I should have said something at the speaker. Or I should have brought water cups for them in the first place. It was a quick run to Target so I didn't think they were gonna need their water.
I said I was very sorry.
After she went to get the water cups, she went to me and said: "Here are the water. You should have let them know that you wanted water when you ordered so that all those people didn't have to wait and the line wouldn't be held up!" Within 2 minutes of me at the window waiting for the water cups, she rudely told me over and over and over to make SURE that I know for a solid FACT that I held the line by not telling the person on the speaker that I wanted 3 small cups of water for my kids. In my 14 years of customer service in my field, I have encountered all kinds of situations. I agree! Customers make mistakes just like everyone on this earth. There are times they are absolutely wrong. But as people in business who deal directly with customers, your response is everything.
The appropriate response of the above situation should be: "Oh you want water? Oh okay give us a minute. During this lunch hour there is a high volume of orders. So next time I would suggest that you mention it to the person at the speaker so we could speedily prepare it for you."
I expect it to be something like that. Because this is not a small family owned business. This is Chick Fil A whose customer service should be way beyond average. But Taco Bell even has better customer service that what was offered here at this Chick Fil A location.
Little foxes ruin the vineyard. If this kind of service and attitude continue, then this Chick Fil A can expect to have little to no lines to serve in the future.

Read moreI would like to preface that I have been a loyal patron of CFA for years and I frequent CFA probably once a week. On 12/9, I went to the 603 S Plano Rd location in Richardson, Texas to pick-up my pre-ordered breakfast order for my 1st period class as this was a reward for them. Upon passing out the chicken biscuits I noticed that 5 were missing. I handed them out one by one, so this I know to be true. I asked my colleague to watch my class so I could go back to CFA to rectify the order. Upon arrival, I asked to speak with the store manager and was met by Alicia (Aleesia?). I explained my situation to her and was told that I must have made a mistake because she counted them herself. I told her that, I handed out the sandwiches that were in the bag. She told me that I was incorrect and that there was nothing that she could do. She was not apologetic for my inconvenient nor accommodating in anyway. No were the other associates who gave me the same poor energy. Therefore I RE-PURCHASED the missing sandwiches so my students wouldn’t be without. I am flabbergasted that the manager of CFA would insinuate that I was lying or that I would go out of my way to leave my students to scam free food from CFA is insulting. I am a CFA One Red member, I frequent this location regularly for breakfast and lunch as I work for a nearby school which is less than 5 minutes away but I can assure you that this location has lost my business as I would never have expected to be treated this way over 5 missing food items after placing a bulk order! Please note that before I left I asked for the manager’s name and the cashier refused to tell me and I had to ask another associate for it. This by far was the worst experience I’ve ever had with CFA. As a small business owner, I value great customer service. I am often told that my customer service is on par with CFA which is a compliment! But this experience is certainly not the standard of CFA that I know...
Read moreThis is the most disgusting Chick-Fil-A location I’ve ever been to. Every other Chick-Fil-A in the area is clean but this Richardson location. The employees in the drive through window need more training in communication with the customer because I could hardly hear the person charging me. I went to this location on Friday May, 27th after a long day of work. I placed an order for 3 Spicy Chick-Fil-A Sandwiches Deluxe and 2 fries. I went to pay for my order in the drive through window and the kitchen was disgusting. The cooks were not wearing any gloves and were touching the food and throwing trash in trash bags hanging off the metal tables in the kitchen where orders are being placed. I payed and took my order for takeout to eat at home. When I opened the bag I noticed the fries were covered with packs of ranch & Buffalo sauce! It was half of the fries that were gone! They literally put sauces in the box of fries. These sauce packets aren’t clean and they filled up the box of fries halfway with them leaving me with just half a box of fries to eat. I begin to eat my sandwich and I can tell the Spicy Chicken Sandwiches are not fresh. The Sandwich itself was soggy and dry. The cheese was stuck on it as if the Sandwich has been sitting there for hours. I decide to eat it because this is all I had to eat and then I decide to open my sandwich and a white piece of hair was hanging off the cheese towards the bottom of the sandwich! This is absolutely disgusting! DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! I threw the sandwiches away! Horrible service & disgusting management. I will never be coming back to this...
