Cream & Crepes Cafe — Restaurant in Richardson

We came in a Saturday night, just a little after 8. We got there and it was a little busy. There was a small group in front of us. We ordered 3 things. One crepe and 2 rolled ice creams. It took 45 minutes! There were 3 people working. They were training a girl that night and she did nothing, she was in the way the entire time we were there. There was one guy making the crepe orders, he worked circles around the other guy who was making the ice cream rolls. I watched him make 4 orders of crepes while the other guy made 1 order of ice cream. The guy who made the ice cream was a turtle, no wait, more like a sloth. He didn't have a care in the world that people were waiting for their order. He talked, overlooked ingredients, asking numerous times where something he needed was when it was right in front of him. It was horrible. The crepe was done before the ice cream. We ordered our things to go, so it was soggy and not so great by the time we ate it. Everything was done at different times. My daughter ordered the mango habanero ice cream and while the guy made her order, he said, "I would never order this ice cream"... off putting. This guy sucked.

I feel like this could be a good spot if they had better staff working. They also need to make sure that people who order a combo of crepes and ice cream to make sure it's gets the customer at the same time. Otherwise, you'll be watching the person who orders their crepe while you're waiting on your ice cream. The store is ok, it's a little stuffy, but maybe I was just feeling that way because we sat there for 45 minutes watching sloth guy make ice cream rolls in the slowest pace ever. Prices would be fair if the crepes were freshly served and not handed to us 25 before everything else. My recommendation is to go when they are slow, maybe during the day is when the place has...

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE and I DIDN'T FEEL SAFE! DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE A LONG NAME. I recently visited with my girlfriend, and a tall man with his hair up asked me to shorten my name for the order. I declined, and as a result, my order took 20 minutes (for a strawberry banana crepe). We could overhear the staff discussing our order and mentioning something about short names, which made both of us very uneasy. When I approached the counter to collect my order, this tall individual stood uncomfortably close, and my girlfriend noticed him glaring at me with an aggressive demeanor. Feeling threatened, I handed back our order and headed to our car immediately. To my alarm, he followed me and began interrogating me about our dissatisfaction, persisting even after I tried to placate him. I quickly rolled up the car window and drove off. This incident left me feeling genuinely unsafe. My girlfriend witnessed the entire scene. I felt compelled to leave without requesting a refund to avoid further confrontation. I ordered food on 12/31 and I Understand it being the holiday but the customer service was horrible. I placed the order online. When I went in to pick it up when I walked in no one said anything to me. No greeting or anything. It took 10 minutes for them to acknowledge me and ask what I was there for. They told me it would be about 5 minutes for my order to be ready. Which is fine I understand they were busy. But they never got to my order it took another 20 minutes of sitting there with people coming in and ordering and getting their food. All the people working just sit there staring at you when you ask something like they don’t want to help you. The girl was very rude and the manager just seems like he can’t manage orders and his employees. The food wasn’t even good enough to wait that long for. My crepe was missing the toppings on it and was just Nutella and not worth the $10 for it. I will never go back and will never recommend...
