My girlfriend and I ate at this location for my birthday. We came in and our initial impression was that the restaurant was fairly nice and the menu is appealing. Service was perfectly fine initially. Now, at this stage it is important to note that my girlfriend is dangerously allergic to nuts and cranberries. Cranberries are easy enough to avoid at most Asian restaurants, but nuts are always a bit of a concern. However, we informed the waitress of these allergies and we were assured it wouldn't be a problem. So, I ordered some sushi and my girlfriend ordered the duck breast. The food comes out and looks absolutely delicious. However, the sun dried cherries on the duck breast looked a bit suspect to us, and so we asked the waitress to double check what type of berries they were. Surprise! They kitchen said they were CRANBERRIES. Both the online menu (as of the writing of this review) and the physical menu at the time of the incident specified that they were cherries, which is incorrect.

Saying one thing on the menu, but serving something completely different, is a potentially fatal mistake and I'm glad we caught it before this restaurant put her in the hospital. Absolutely unacceptable, especially after we specified that she was allergic. In the interest of her safety, Edoko Sushi Richardson gets one star from us and we will not be coming back. Additionally we request that the restaurant either shape up and serve cherries as advertised, or change the menu to reflect the use of...

wow! what a disappointment. very poor customer service and the worse owner i've ever come across. took my 5 year old here to celebrate after her kindergarten performance at school. we are a family of 4, my 2 year old was a bit cranky bc we waited 10 mins for someone to even come give us water, didn't take our order or anything. my daughter was crying and a bit cranky obviously no food to keep her quiet. owner comes to my table and basically kicked us out, i will say he asked if he can get her anything but followed it with "tables are complaining about the noise" that rubbed me the wrong way considering we send all of our family and friends to this place, are loyal customers, bring all of guest here from out of town. the fact that he was so rude and not understanding of me not being able to control a hungry 2 year old is so insensitive. i told him that was kind of rude and really rubbed me the wrong way. he did not offer to do anything but make me feel like he wanted my family to leave, also kept bringing up the fact that 3 tables complained of noise when there was not even 3 tables around us. will never give this place another penny. such a sad owner, someone needs to teach him respect and sensitivity to children who may just be having a tough moment. nonetheless i will never go back here he ruined our Friday night and this won’t be the last time he's going to hear from me!!!!! HE SEEMED HAPPY THAT WE GOT UP AND LEFT, SHAME...

First- the hostess wiped the table we were sat in. BUT the rag was so wet, the table was wet. Literally pools of water on the wet table. Which they put fresh napkins on… Which then got soaked with dirty rag water. She then proceeded to try to wipe the table again with an even wet rag, which smelled bad… So what I did was, I took the fresh napkins that were already wet and wiped the table for her because she obviously did not know what to do. So that's strike one. Strike two… Is that the place was freezing. You would think that they would have Thought to turn the heater on or turn it up because every time the door opened, a cold draft would hit that place which was already an ice box to begin with. And strike three the worst of all… Was the food. It was just OK at best. I ordered this volcano roll with what was supposed to have crispy Sweet potato topping on it… But I could tell that they cooked it ahead of time because it was stale. It wasn't even crispy. It was just chewy and greasy. To make it worse… We sat Down and it took them 15 minutes to send somebody to get a drink order for us. My husband ordered two old-fashioned but the beverage was so watered down that it It didn't taste or look like it had any liquor in it. Their Valentine's Day menu was actually very very disappointing. I will not go out of my way to recommend this place to anyone and if you know your sushi, this is not the...

Bf and I wandered in for a date night after a night market in the area. We’re regulars at places like this near Frisco, so I’d say we have a pretty good grasp on the food we got. I’d like to start by saying this is some of my favorite gyoza I’ve ever had, including when I visited Japan. This is a must get. The sauce was delightful, the outside was perfect with a crunchy bottom and soft top, and the filling was delicious. Well worth $7. My bf got some calamari ring tempura, which was fine but we got a small portion compared to when we usually get calamari. There was only like 3 big rings and 2 small on the plate. I also got a Gyu sushi to try. Was it worth $4.50? Maybe, maybe not but I enjoyed it and it was a much higher quality than the beef sushi at say Kura. Now my Beef Yakisoba was questionable honestly. Smaller portion than I’m used to, the beef tasted awkwardly like hamburg and was chewy, and the sauce it was stir fried in was really sweet and thick, almost like honey. Someone might like it but for $18 it wasn’t what I expected and wasn’t to my tastes Bf got a Charashi bowl for $25 and stated it was mid as expected for the price. I think we would return, but IMO our food was a mixed bag.

This place was good, but in other ways not so much. We ordered the Ebi Robata, tako sashimi, and the Mori Mori, Sunshine, Lady Karen, and Haru Rainbow Roll. We also had cold peach sake. The sake was really good and if you go, I recommend getting it. The ebi was okay. Nothing too great. The tako (octopus) was really good and we highly recommend getting the 5 piece. As for the sushi...the mori mori was the best with sunshine second. The Lady Karen and Haru Rainbow were okay. There was nothing wrong with the Lady Karen, but its wrapped in cucumber and the cucumber just overpowered everything else. The Haru Rainbow was good, but just not something that would hit the spot. We also spent about 2 1/2 hours here because the sushi took FOREVER to get to our table. The first round of sushi we ordered took about 30 minutes alone and the ones we ordered later about 20 minutes. The sushi also wasn't made well. Everything kept on falling apart as soon as we would touch it. If you're in the area, it's a good enough place, but there are definitely better sushi restaurants around.

Came here on a girls night out and loved the vibes! It was a Wednesday night so not so packed and easy to get table. We ordered a lobster roll, two rolls from the makis menu (rolls with no rice) namely the edoko kiss and kabuki roll. Lobster roll definitely was not my favorite. It was smothered in way too much mayo sauce and the coloring was just cream all around. These are usually my favorite rolls but definitely not from here. The edoko kiss was very good. But it didn’t make a strong impression since I was so in love w the kabuki roll! Kabuki roll and edoko both are wrapped in soy paper, taste very much like rice paper on spring rolls. It’s clear and has a light taste. It’s stuffed w lettuce and other items and topped off with fish and varies toppings. I can probably eat two kabuki rolls to myself!!! We also had the spicy garlic edamame and that was very good too! Really enjoyed this place. Nice twist from your usual sushi and the food was so fresh when we got there. Definitely would recommend!!!
