I’ve been going to Smoothie Factory for a while now and probably go at least once a week. The older lady working the counter isn’t the most well versed in customer service but I’m usually able to handle the attitude on most occasions. I went yesterday and purchased the PB Powerhouse yesterday and as I paid, the lady told me that smoothie would be $5 the following day on Friday. Fast forward to today, I stopped in for my usual and as soon as I walk up to the counter I can already sense she is frustrated with something. While waiting for her to take my order the water meter guy comes and tells her he is going to check the meter and walks to the back. When he comes back the man tells her thanks and she completely ignores him. As I’m placing my order she is continually sighing and acting as if I’m inconveniencing her. I make my order and she rings up $6.50. I asked if the smoothie was supposed to be $5 and she says no because it has protein. I then ask her what is for $5 and she tells me that I just need to pick something without protein. I asked her one more time what the $5 options were and repeats , “anything without protein”. The imentire time she is trying to figure out the cash register situation, so I finally just tell her never mind and walked out. I’m not one to complain about service but this lady really needs some kind of help doing her job. I choose smoothie factory over the other places because I enjoy their smoothies, but I am seriously considering going to smoothie king which is a couple minutes down the road. I really hope they get this lady squared away cuz I can’t imagine I’m the only one who doesn’t like...
Read moreI would avoid this place like the plague, due to ridiculously high prices.
Their prices are clearly posted...for the 20 Oz varieties! (about 4.50 average) The 32 Oz is a whopping 50% more (7.50), and I paid 9.80(!!!!) for the 44 Oz. I was shocked, then they pointed to their price list hidden in the corner.
Smoothies themselves are decent enough at Smoothie Factory and they don't appear to deviate from the recipes from my experience.
But Ive gone to many locations and never encountered anything like this. I suspect that the owners don't understand American pricing schemes where the smallest item is at a certain price and larger quantities are really cheap and considered upsells since food-costs are so low. This guy is basically charging the same per Oz rate...
Read moreI’m a local customer of the shopping area where the smoothie factory is located and I’m happy to support local businesses. However today y’all lost me and my family of customers. Tried again for the second time today, first time the smoothie was good the service was horrible but I decided to try again since it was an older lady and maybe she was having a hard time completely understandable. Today we entered the store nobody greeted us nor even looked at our eyes while we were ordering from the menu . When asked about the watermelon festival poster we barely understood what she said due to the attitude and under the tone explanation. Perfect example where the product is good but the service...
