If you are looking for a great place to live....conveniently located near almost any place you need to go. Please chose Alexan Central. Great staff and always helpful. The Dart train and bus just outside at your doorstep. Just a few things still in the works but overall manageable!!! Stop by soon.
Update the above statement was out of bribery...thought this was a great place at the time not anymore!!!!
Where do I start...I moved into Alexan Central back in March of this year from another state I initially came to see the apartments back in December....when doing my application before 12/31/16 you qualified for a gift card. Moving forward to January....When calling there would be several different people answering the phones. As far as I'm concerned I've never been fond of dealing with multiple people when handling business. So one of the leasing Agents I originally started with was leaving. Of course I started to work with someone else. Questions started to come about and I would be given generic answers or just brushed off. My questions were as follows:
If I wanted to upgrade what's the time frame? Is there a fee? Oh you have to be in your apartment 4 months (the lease clearly doesn't state that it says 3 months). The transfer fee would be $1,000.
My lease states 2 gate keys 2 door keys. When could I retrieve those? Oh that was a glitch in the system. You can pay $75 to get the other set(there were more than 4 attempts at this). Just a few weeks ago she had me to cross out the 2 and put 1 to initial on the printed out lease.
Parking-hideous originally there were no reserved parking spots. The garage has a level for each floor (5 total). $50 a pop wow!! Cars hanging out when coming up the ramp/halfway parked. Nobody has respect....new people (not all) move in and take over.
Thin floors....you can hear when your neighbors are home clear as day. It's like Bigfoot walking above you.
Music-for the most part is quiet-but in the summer people would come and play Bluetooth radios as loud as possible-of whatever, whenever. $25 monthly valet trash...bugs get in your apt!
They throw all of these fake parties like they really like their tenants. The previous property manager was not very receptive to conversing with me. She passed everything off to the assistant manager. Whom plays right along with what's going on right or wrong. Both of them always wanted to talk instead of emailing back. To prevent a paper trail. . We also have a new property manager I had no knowledge of.
Studio water bill $89-$98
Emails-they are always sending out these do's and don't emails, but barely reply back to things they don't like to be called out on.
Since I've been here they've ran through at least 8+ people I am not over exaggerating!!!! Some were temp some were not...
They gave $25 gift cards to do a "This is a wonderful place to live" reviews. Emails to do another down the line to win a $500 gift card. Because the occupancy was so low.
Put in a ticket to get see what was going on with my air. Knowing I would be at worked. There was a portion that states Can we enter without you being there? I said no. I'm not going to tell you the maintenance man came in my apartment anyway. This was not for emergency purposes. So I consulted with the assistant manager-she stated per my lease he can. We'll see about that.
I even tried to pay out-to get out of here but the fees are outrageous!! The sad part is This doesn't feel like home I feel played. To move from another state and find out things aren't what it's cracked up to be this is very devastating. This place is a freaking joke. I am so unhappy here it's a shame. It feel as if I've punked. There's no need to call corporate they don't answer the phone or return phone calls.
The only thing would make me feel better is getting...
Read moreAxis 110 operated by Bell Partners is absurd.
My wife and I have been living in Axis 110 since 2017. The building has been operated by a total of five different apartment management companies in our time here. Based on our experience with the five companies, Bell Partners by far is preposterous. Our unit experienced a water leak on 2/20/25 due to a broken water pipe on the fifth floor (we live on the first floor). This caused water damage in the wall facing the patio. Multiple and large sections of the wall had to be removed in the pursuit of rectifying the damage. As of writing this review, 3/28/25, there have been three different work crews to our unit to address the issue, yet the repairs remain uncompleted. We have been without utilization of our living room area for a month now because of the incomplete work, as evident in the pictures. Never have we experienced such an exhausting time period for such repairs to be finished in our time at Axis 110. And yes, water damage due to water pipe breaks is common in the building due to it's faulty architectural design.
The current property manager has not been able to provide us with a consistent approximate date for when the repairs are to be conducted. One day the answer will be "thirty to sixty days," and a week later it will be, "late next week;" yet without any actual resolution. Waiting thirty to sixty days to replace sections of sheet rock for one wall is insulting. The manager has also not provided us a "why" behind the prolonged repair period. Mind you, this particular manager has demonstrated the same behavior under two different management companies while at Axis 110.
If you read on Bell Partners Inc. website, it states that their purpose is "To create communities our residents are proud to call home." The company also claims, "Our residents are our North Star. We are focused on delivering a superior living experience through all phases of the resident lifecycle by understanding customer needs and wants, providing a quality product and personal service, instilling pride in home, and turning ordinary interactions into extraordinary experiences." How is the experience my spouse and I have endured for five weeks now (and ongoing) a reflection of their mission? It is not. Bell Partners Inc. does not care about their tenants and they do not deliver on their proclaimed quality of service.
Our life chapter living at Axis 110 will come to a close this August when our current lease expires, as a result of the experience of continuing to entertain the ludicrous lack of concise communication from management and from living in our current unsettling situation. Do...
Read moreI have been a resident at Axis 110 for over a year. I do not recommend staying at Axis 110. This is from my personal experience that is also shared by other residents in the community.
Cons: Management: They seemed nice and welcoming at first. After move in, they no longer care for the residents. Not only do they not pick up calls for days and weeks on end, dismiss a lot of issues when you visit their office in-person, but they simply do not care to follow-up on the ongoing issues at this apartment complex. This goes for the entire management/front office team. Theft: During my stay at the apartment there was multiple (20+) car break-ins/theft, package being stolen at a mass amount, and mail being irresponsibly left throughout the building. Management told us there is nothing they can do about this and I have to deal with it on my own. Cleanliness of the facility: There are always scraps of trash along the hallways, dirt throughout the building, and dog pee in the elevator. During the summer, the entire elevator would smell of dog pee and there was pee all over the ground. It was a biohazard and it happened almost every single day. Loud noises: There was regular commotion/drunk people in the hallway in the middle of the night. It can be clearly heard while I was in my apartment. Multiple residents had filed a complaint, but nothing was done. Incorrect Charges: I have caught incorrect charges to my account and had to dispute them. Unfortunately, it is extremely difficult in reaching the management office by phone. Or often times when you visit them in person, they will tell you to come back later because they can't help you right now. Facility Issues: Over the years I have been at this complex, there are always issues. Either they have gas turned off for weeks, no water for hours, or elevator is broken for months. There are constant issues that the apartment has and through each resolution, there is always more to come. Almost every single or every other month there was something wrong and everyone had to prepare for "no water" or "no gas", etc.
Pros: The apartment complex is right by the highway, it was a convenient location for commute. Access to the facilities: They offer digital keys that allow you to access your apartments and common areas through an app which is also convenient.
Overall, there are numerous issues that Axis 110 has and they do not put any effort in resolving. As nice as it seems through the tours and treatment from the management team initially, this is not a great place to stay. Over time the apartment has deteriorated in both quality...
