From the moment we walked in, Las Lomas set the tone for an amazing experience. The hostess greeted us warmly and had us seated right away, which already made us feel welcome.
On our first visit, our server Amanda was fantastic, attentive, friendly, and always checking back to make sure we were taken care of. Eric also stopped by our table and gave us excellent recommendations. I ordered the Guiso de Puerco, which was flavorful, authentic, and truly outstanding. My boyfriend went with the beef enchiladas, and he loved every bite. The drinks were just as impressive my spicy margarita on the rocks hit the perfect balance of heat and freshness, and the cucumber ranch water was crisp and refreshing.
We enjoyed our first time so much that we came back again on a Sunday afternoon and this time, Eric took care of us from start to finish. He’s incredibly friendly, hospitable, and talented at what he does. His cocktails are next level; he takes classic drinks and puts his own creative twist on them. Following his recommendation, we tried the Plato Cancún with a mix of chicken and beef fajitas, and it was absolutely delicious.
One last highlight I can’t forget the homemade corn tortillas. They’re fresh, warm, and the perfect complement to every dish.
Overall, Las Lomas isn’t just good it’s excellent. Between the food, the drinks, and the genuine hospitality from Amanda and Eric, this place easily earns a 5 out of 5 stars. We’ll definitely...
Read moreThis was our first time. Should start with saying we'll def. come back. For the most part food and service was good if not great. Think most of the hiccups were them being newly opened. Pro tip - read the fine print on the HH pricing (you have to be at a high top or the bar to get those prices which seems odd since its all one big space - but that's on me for not paying close enough attention.) Def. some great HH pricing though ($4 Pacifico on Tap, thank you!) Menu is great. Lot of variety and options in regard to how much food you order. My carne asada was a little bland but otherwise good (I added my own seasonings,) we shared the ceviche which was refreshingly good. Wife had the sopes which were amazing (she had al pastor as her protein.) Other thing to note is the restaurant is noisy which isn't really the owners fault. The next door neighbor, Dream Cafe has a similar problem. It's more the space with the high ceiling and the way the sound bounces around if its busy (which is was on our visit.) The noise thing is a personal preference - if I wanted an intimate experience I'd not go here, but if I wanted to have fun in a lively atmosphere, this is a good spot to hit. If you are looking for another option for your Mexican fix, give these...
