first let me say I'm a very critical thinker and I typically scrutinize carefully when I'm making a review or contemplating offering feedback for a restaurant or a place that serves food in this metropolitan area. there are literally thousands of places to grab something to eat whether it's sweets or otherwise. Knowing that the competition can be fierce and that the marketplace has a broad varied spectrum of options for the consumer attend to be very picky and very selective. I can also tell you that I have eaten sweets hundreds of different places over the past three or four months just because it's something that I like to grab early in the day when I'm in the mood for a little snack. I do look for bakeries but sometimes I also look for donuts. But I don't just stop anywhere I try and be very selective. I did a random search and the Richardson area for a bakery is I was in a mood for a morning snack in this place popped up. I read some reviews and found that all reviewers were giving positive wonderful feedback. I took a chance like anyone else would do in the same circumstances and I tried them out. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. let me give you a few of my observations. The lighting was great, the place was very clean, the young lady helping me out was very friendly and very kind, the music that was playing in the building was pleasant and provided an uplifting vibe, I decided to try six different items just because I was there.
I was not planning on eating all of the items that I purchased. I was just trying them out, I've done this a lot, typically I end up tossing at least half of what I buy at a brand new place in the garbage. because as I described it another way I generally overspend if it's my first time in your place of business, I'll do this to give you every opportunity to earn my repeat business. to know more in the single visit what you have to offer I need to buy more items which means I overspend. well I got parked in A shady spot and took a little break to try out some of the things I'd purchased, I purchased the strawberry cheesecake, the cherry cheesecake, something with chocolate ganache in it(I don't remember what it's called), and something that resembles tiramisu (I don't remember what she called that either), I purchased a mini apple and a mini cherry pie. The pies would be great warmed up all the mode with some vanilla ice cream on top that'd be the best way I could describe serving those. The many cheesecakes are literally to die for The cups with what came across is some form of pudding inside mixed with cookies were also "the bomb" so in summary this was a wonderful visit, I will never forget this place is here and I will always return, as a matter of fact I will make it a point to share this place with my wife so that I can bring her here and buy her some treats, I will let my family and friends know about this place. The reviews are exactly correct If you're willing to try some different things and are willing to sample a variety of items to find one of your favorites this place is worth every penny you'll spend here. I'll follow up or end my message with this; The prices are very reasonable in my own opinion. I don't think the typical average consumer will come in here even after buying a variety of different items and feel like they have overspent their money, especially if they reserve their opinion until after they've tried the treats themselves. Happy shopping snackers this...
Read moreIt was my first time trying sweetstop and I ordered catering for mini cheesecakes about two weeks in advance. I called again shortly after I called to make the catering order to adjust the pick-up time. I understand mistakes happen and the cheesecakes weren’t ready at the new pickup time so I had to come back at a later time to pick up the cheesecakes on pickup day. They were so tasty and my guests enjoyed them very much! Lena (I think was her name!) was so accommodating and apologized profusely for the pickup times, even offering me an extra treat on the house (I don’t remember the name of it, but it was also really good!) she was so kind. It was still unfortunate they weren’t ready when I needed them to be, but the customer service made up for it plenty. The mini cheesecakes were definitely mini - they’re such a cute tiny size and were all...
Read moreJust found this place a week ago because I had a hankering for pie and didn't want to drive across town. Here's all that I've had so far: Both flavors of baby pies The Lotus & the Tiramisu sweetcups All 3 flavors of Tart Bites (Pistachio is my fave) Chocolate Betifours The Awaki Sandwich The Killaj Fatayers--Beef & beef w/ tomato & onion The Rapomzel (pomegranate lemonade) *Not all eaten in by me in one sitting, ok? If you tend to plan ahead, I highly encourage calling them to preorder their killaj! I made the mistake of only ordering half a dozen to try with my friends one day and I regretted 1) sharing and 2) not ordering a...
