Bruchi's — Restaurant in Richland

Unfortunately, I had to deduct 2 stars on service, 1 on food, and 1 star on atmosphere. While I have given a stellar review for another of this franchise, I can't do the same here. Upon entering I noted only 6 to 8 customers dinning in at a few tables, and at least 5 staff, yet the tables were dirty with food and beverage spills. The service counter was very quick and good customer service, but that level of service ended there. The staff appeared to be made up of 1 older gentleman and the rest young adults. Food came out in short burst and in no particular order. Some dine-ins got their food faster than the same general to go order that was placed before theirs. And not by a few minutes, as if to wrap, but by 10 to 15 minutes after.

Now time for the food. 5 stars on the pound of fries and small classic cheesesteak, with no mayo. However, here again is another ding for a star on the 12" Supreme. (First, let me say I gave a generous tip upon ordering as the counter was on it.) The sandwich was either put together all askew by the cook (most likely...you'll guess why), or the person wrapping it. Over half the cheese was still in tact (wedge shape) and melted just enough to stick in full to the wrapper, it not melted in meat. The meat itself was piled inches thick in the dead center with barely 3 slices of pepper. I literally had to reconstruct the entire sandwich on a plate with silverware after I was able to get a decent amount of cheese off the paper. Luckily, it was still hot, and it melted into that perfect tasting cheesesteak I was really wanting.

Was disgusted by the customer service I received in the drive thru today. The girl (Marisol), who handed me my order did so without saying a word to me and shut window before I could ask if napkins and forks were in the bag. They double knot the bag and the last time they didn't give me forks or napkins with my salad. I had to wave her back to window to ask if forks and napkins in bag. She seemed very annoyed when she opened the window. She said "forks are in there, but not napkins". So I asked if I could have some napkins. She closed the window (again without saying a word) but rolled her eyes and went back to counter to get napkins while seemingly venting about me to her coworkers as they all looked over at me. She came back to the window and very rudely handed me napkins (again without saying a word) with a look on her face that made me grateful that looks do not kill. And then quickly shut the window again.

This is not the first time I've received bad service from this location, but it will be the last as I won't be returning after this.

I kept forgiving the bad service, hairs in my sandwich, floaters in my drink, but the customer service I received today was some of the worst I've ever received from any fast food restaurant.

And just as I get to the park to somehow find a way to enjoy my lunch after the horrible treatment I just received, I discovered that there are in fact NO forks in the bag afterall. But hey, at least I have napkins so I can wipe my fingers clean after I use them to eat my...

Edit: Alright, I had to edit my review. I still stand by my earlier review, but I failed to mention how good the food is. I was a little irritated. We went back again last night and had the peppersteak and the classic cheesesteak, and i have to tell you that they are delicious! Service was great also and super fast! Hopefully, they have been able to address the staffing problems, but the food is awesome! FYI, Their brownies are not great. Really dry and crumbly.

Well, we went here to have a good sandwich, watch Monday Night Football, and have a beer! I didn't even know they served beer! Turns out they don't! While my friend went to get a good seat to watch the game, we ordered a sandwich and asked about their beer selection. That's when the server taking our order said that we couldn't order beer! When I asked why, she said that no one working that night was 21!!! That's right, they have I think 3 beers on tap, but no one old enough to serve it!!! We ended up canceling our food order and going somewhere we could get...
