Rude employee decided she would assemble my burrito sloppy today because I asked for a little more rice since I got no beans she dropped the chicken onto the table part of where they pick up food with previous food droppings she picked that chicken up and put it back in my burrito! After she gave me attitude about rice I was afraid say something about the chicken but it went on, I asked for queso smothered sauce and she purposely flipped her wrist and half of it was smothered the other half dropped yet again back into the sauce container and she sent it through the heater thing without asking if it looked ok, I ordered an enchilada right away because I knew I wasn’t going to eat the burrito, that too was sloppy but I’ll take it vs the dropped chicken. After my order she began making an online order of a burrito and it was double the size (the usual size) of mine, and she made it normal without things flying all over the place, It’s a snow day today (perhaps she didn’t wanna work) but if she cant leave her attitude at the door and work she shouldn’t be working. Because no one wants a sloppy half stuffed, half smothered burrito, with dropped chicken and possible remains of someone...
Read moreThe young man should remember this order very easily as I was the individual that asked for mild sauce on my pork quesadilla and he immediately said that would be an upcharge. I was somewhat shocked that this was an upcharge and so I declined the small amount of sauce that hopefully would have made the under flavored pork taste better. The sauce would not have mattered anyways as he scraped the bottom of the container to get the meat out and the tried to spread it around the tortilla to make it appear that I was actually getting anything remotely what I was paying for. His meat spreading technique was applied to my wife's pork salad as well. We asked that the rice for my wife's salad be put on the side and so he took a container used to hold the dressing and proceeded to scoop a small amount into it. We were both shocked to the communist style portion control the staff used on our order. The store in Pasco presented better service, portions, and flavor, as well as a little extra sauce without screwing the customer over with an upcharge than this...
Read moreBeware of blood borne pathogens. Had my first experience at Costa Vida yesterday and I will never return. The manager on duty sliced his finger on the tin foil tray of my food, tried to hide the blood on his finger by tucking the finger into his palm, and continued to touch my food container. I left feeling disgusted and in shock, returning a few minutes later to ask for a refund. This manager offered no apology and said nothing to me. When I confronted him about the issue, he denied any wrong doing and proceeded to argue with me. This is a serious health code violation and was grossly and inadequately handled. If you cut your finger and blood appears, the integrity of your glove has been compromised, plain and simple. This location would benefit from additional food safety training and a visit from the...
