Papa's Pizza To Go — Restaurant in Richmond Hill

Well, where to start. Went into the restaurant. Started to place an order. I saw the 1hundred pounder I think it was called. It has 100 pepperoni and a pound of cheese. I thought this is something my kids would think is cool. So, I proceeded to place order for the "100 Pounder". But, there was apparently a huge faux pas when I also asked for Mushrooms as well. I was instructed by one of the teen ladies that it can't be done. They offered to give me a cup of mushrooms on the side but, not on the pizza. They said they could not put them on the pizza. I offered to show them how to put the mushrooms on the pizza. But, they declined my offer. NO SOUP FOR YOU!! As we were already there and hungry we acquiesced. We ordered a large Classic( I think ) Pepperoni Pizza with Mushrooms. It came out quickly and was hot. That's the best part of the experience. The pizza tasted exactly like little Ceasars. The crust and sauce was especially reminiscent of Little Ceasars. My advice is go to Little Ceasars and save $10.00 or more! I really wanted to like this place but just couldn’t and will probably never return again. The first time I came here I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and wings and they told me it would be about 25-35 min, no big deal. I arrived and the person rung me up and then proceeded to say it would be another 25 min I was taken aback because it had already been 45 min since I placed my order. I waited and waited and it took about 2 hours to get my order I was furious! I’m not sure if I was just so hungry but when I got home the pizza was good. A month later I decide to order again and when I called to order she told me it would be a 45 min wait which again not a big deal. When I got home to eat it the pizza was cold like it had been sitting there for a while, the wings were also cold and tiny. Updated review: The owner called me and explained the reason for the long wait and offered a discount on my next order. He assured me that the pizza would be on-time. I ordered a few days later and the pizza arrived in just over 30 min. My friend has ordered from there since then also and had a positive experience. I hope this level of service will continue as they have the best pizza in town. Updating to 4 stars.

I am usually skeptical of negative reviews because I know how people are hard to please. The fact that this place gets 4.4 stars is unbelievable.
