Dunkin' — Restaurant in Richmond

Let me tell you.....when this place opened I was so excited!! The owners were all over local social media talking it all up, and it was great!!! FOR THE FIRST FEW MONTHS!! After today I will not be coming back. I'm a regular. I have been to THIS particular Dunkin more than 7 times in the last 4 weeks. NONE of the 7 times were they able to give me a simple mocha cold brew. Seems they must have gotten the cold brew machine the same place McDonald's gets their ice cream machines. How does a coffee shop "run out of coffee" 3+ hours before closing time?!?! Once I can accept, twice even, but not ONE single time have they been able to produce in 4 weeks. This lackluster style of management and ownership only leads to disappointing customer experiences. Poor service standards. And the poor customer service I continue to receive. I inquired a couple of weeks ago as to why they didn't "make more"? The response was "it takes 12 hours to steep." To which I replied, "then when you start it....make more for the day". The manager interjected and "said he had NEVER heard of them running out of cold brew before tonight. It was the first time ever!"

Clearly, if that's the case it must have been that managers first day. 🙄 Don't waste your time. I drove to the other Dunkin location and got exactly what I wanted and was on the road in less than 3 minutes.

The manager here in the morning must hate her job. She's the worst ever. Blonde light brown hair, loud, looks like whole crew scared of her. Coffee is never right, if you order cold foam, you get a half cup of coffee. She's ride a can be. And for some reason, whenever you ask the cashier anything about coffee or creamer or even why is the coffee you just handed me half full, they have no ave and seem confused. I have left hear reviews for the dunkin I use to live by, this one i live by now, I try my best to drive 30 minutes away to get my coffee made right and with friendly service. I absolutely hate late mornings, and I go here. I've started going to different coffee places around here and taking others with me. Need serious training and management over haul. I really like Dunkin coffee in the morning. I was hopeful that this location would going to be a lot better than the second one by the 52 cross. It has gone seriously downhill and I just stopped going. When you wait in line for a simple coffee for a very long time to find out it's wrong over ten times it's worth it for me to buy Dunkin beans and brew at home. Cheaper too. I gave the new place a try. The floor was extremely sticky. There was not really a place to sit down either. This location they want you in and out. If you want to sit and enjoy anything this is not the location to do that. I ordered a simple coffee, and it was wrong, hazelnut light and sweet hot. To get correct order I had to wait another ten minutes and the staff was not to friendly about it. I will be once again buying the Dunkin beans at home....
