I don't like to write bad comments, but we experienced the same situation more than once, very unpleasant. We stood for more than 30 minutes and no one served us, except that they looked at us very unfriendly, I don't know what it is about. In the same way, a friend who applied for a job was laughed at several times and was told to apply, the woman applied several times and then called to inquire and I don't understand what it is all about,but it doesn't seems right at all!apart from the fact that they were rude and without any manners of basic courtesy, they told her in the same way why she applied when they were not hiring, precisely after they asked her what position she applied for???!!What I know is that she asked in confusion, I don't understand. I talked to you personally and you asked me to fill out the application, sir, please? The fact that you filled out the application does not mean that you got the job at the end, if we need you, we will call you, as if it is hanging in civilian clothes as needed?? What kind of behavior is that, decide for yourself? and therefore please pay attention to whom you give your attention, time and money! In the end, you gentlemen live off our money and we can all go to a good place where we will be welcomed with good manners and professional behavior, please don't write me some automatic comments contact us blah blah we will do this and that, it's all acting. Friends! I cannot say enough good things about Home Team Grill, and here's why. First and foremost, Mark, the owner, is just a good guy. If you want to feel good about supporting a local business and their staff, Home Team Grill is your place. Mark goes OUT OF HIS WAY to support the local schools (Dogwood Middle LOVES Mark!). He knows his business. He supports people in the neighborhood, the VCU sports fans, sports enthusiasts of all kinds! He knows the regulars. Every time I've worked with Mark on ANY kind of event, he's been delightful to work with and has great insights. I look forward to working with him every time. Second, the variety of food! Yes, it's bar food. But I love that they have vegetarian and GF options, too. It's really important this day and ages so EVERYONE can show up, feel satisfied, and have a good time. Third, the pricing is very reasonable. Whether you're on a budget or you have money to burn, you can find something on the menu and treat yourself without feeling like you have to take out a loan to do it. Fourth, the service. The people at Home Team are great. My kids and I are big fans, and we will always give some love to Home Team. Bonus! They have parking. Rare to find. Enjoy your visit!...

I really wanted to like this place because it looks so nice from the street. The first thing I was greeted with was an awful smelling menu. It had mildew inside the plastic sleeve and I assume the smell is from the rag they wiped it with. I returned that putrid paper and chuckled as it was placed back with the rest of them. Next, on a non-smelly menu, I see that they have shrimp quesadillas. That sounds like a great idea! 13 bucks? Worth it! My friend orders an $11 chicken tender platter. The tenders came out and were clearly just frozen processed food, but that’s his fault. I had a real meal in front of me; that is until I took a bite and found that the shrimp it too small. Usually tortillas in restaurants taste better than store-bought ones. Not here. It was just okay and the price wasn’t.
