Not sure if this place is considered a hidden gem given it's high rating, but this place was incredible! There is only street parking, unless there was more parking I didn't notice. The entrance of the restaurant is a steep set of stairs downward, but colorfully decorated. It is a mix of a bar and restaurant. Inside seating is a bit limited but it looks like they also had outdoor seating.. the chairs were a lot more comfortable than it they looked. The service was great. But the food was superb!! For appetizers we had the Thai beef (I'm spacing out on the name) and coconut crusted tofu. Both were generous in portion size and were large enough to be a meal. For entrees, we had lo mein and Pad See Ew. Both were, again, large portions. The beef was fatty and very flavorful. All the food was superb in flavor and quality. We had a wonderful experience and will absolutely return.

I wish I could rate it differently for different things. The atmosphere is 5 stars to me. It is very cute and cozy and I love the varying levels of the tables and one of the benches is a porch swing, etc. The drawings for the menu are adorable and wonderful as well. The service was a bit unimpressive sadly. We were one of two tables and our server paid us rare visits, had no idea what was in most of the dishes, and forgot to add in the egg we asked for then said she'd do it after we'd already had our food for ten minutes (we thanked her, but no longer needed it). The food....I wanted to love it, cause it sounded fun, but really it was just okay. I got the My Noodle (green tea noodles with vegetables in a sauce), and sadly all I tasted was whatever the goopy sauce was. It was very thick and there was nothing distinctive about it. Not bad, just...not great. My companion got the Galangal Soup, which was fun - the broth a sort of combination of Tom Yum and Tom Kha. We did get the Duck Roll appetizer, which was tasty, but a bit small for the price. The Roti dessert was good. I'll go back, but I'm sadly not super excited about it.

Pretty unique Thai restaurant. Intimate, eclectic interior, chicken drunken noodles were phenomenal, perfect level of spiciness for flavor. First time visit on 10/21/23 was a pretty interesting experience. It was Friday at 11:45pm, we were the only customers dining there, and their hours were until 1:30am. The lighting inside was very dim. An older gentleman was performing karaoke the whole time, it was fun listening to him. Our server was exceptionally friendly and kept encouraging us to sing karaoke, bringing out the massive catalog of songs to place on our table. However, we were tired from a long drive and just wanted to eat. I'm sure it would've been a great time had we been in the mood for it. The wait for the food was ~20min. It arrived on large, uniquely shaped plates. Portions were filling and incredibly delicious. To me, it was exactly worth the price.

If I could give this place more stars I would! The atmosphere is typical old style Fan...eclectic, bohemian, artsy, hip, tucked away in the basement of an apartment building near VCU. It was my son's birthday, he wanted Thai so Thai it was. I ordered the Shrimp Noodle Wrap....The presentation stumped me...it came in a little wire basket and looked like a birds nest with a shrimp tail sticking out the top. The bird's nest was fried noodles. OH SO DELISH!!! Came with a spicy plum sauce (like sweet chili). It was a little sloppy to eat but worth the battle. My son had the Drunken Noodles. He slid me a tiny bite. It was tasty, as well. I will definitely make run down there again. Parking is tight, but not impossible. GO EAT THAI!!

Best Thai spot in Richmond! The whole atmosphere and aesthetic of the place was so fun here. They have awesome decor inside and some great tables outside. Service is a little slow if you get an outside table but they make up for it with the food. I tried the drunken noodles which was solid, although a little heavy on the fish sauce and less spicy than I would have liked. The Hawaiian fried rice was the favorite of our table for the perfectly crispy pork belly bites in it. Their cocktails were also gorgeous, especially the Electric Ave which was delicious and tasted like a gummy worm. Decent street parking around the neighborhood, but you still might have to walk a couple blocks.
