Ullery's Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in Richmond

When we visit places we always find a local spot and Ullerys didn't disappoint. Both homemade waffle cones/bowls and ice cream intrigued us first. We were planning on grabbing ice cream and heading back to our campsite. However, when we got our sundaes that wasn't an option. They are so big. Also, make sure you get any ice cream in a waffle cone or bowl because they're homemade and delicious! The Java ice cream was delicious if you enjoy coffee. My husband got the Richie Rich sundae. If you like Reese Cups it's definitely something you'll love. I chose the Meltdown Sundae and even though they were out of the white chocolate ice cream it was still delicious with just the sea salt caramel. It was huge and so good as well. We also love that they have seating inside or the alley with a service window there too. We chose to go in to see the offerings and the gals who were working were super nice. We will definitely be back if our travels bring us...

Had to go to Richmond for some business today. LISTEN. Best decision of the day. OMGOODNESS! This little homemade shop packs some of the best Ice cream I’ve ever had in my life! No exaggeration. No cap. They had this Red Rasberry flavor, that I assumed was sherbert, but it wasn’t sherbert. So I tried it along with a suggested Honey B original flavor. Wow! I can still taste it as both flavors passed smoothly and easily over my lips. SMH. SOOO DEEEEEEEELICIOUS!

So If You’re ever in or have time while passing through Richmond, make sure to do yourself a favor and stop by UIllery’s little shop of Heavenly Homemade Goodness. Oh, I almost forgot, they also make their own waffle cones. Which by the way, I finished (first time ever) before the ice cream....

Stopped by on a Friday evening with my girlfriend after eating at Firehouse BBQ. Ullery’s was pretty quiet with only a few other customers sitting down inside. However several customers came in to get ice cream cones and leave. This place (and whole area) is a hidden gem! The staff was extremely kind and explained what everything was to us. We ended up ordering sundaes not realizing how big they would be. You certainly get your moneys worth at this place!
