Up & Under Pub and Grill — Restaurant in Richmond

On a Saturday night myself and my pilot car show up at the grill, very friendly waitress, good food, friendly people. I decided to go Sunday morning and get something to eat so I walked four blocks. I got there right before they opened had about 8 minutes to go. Ask the waitress are you open. She said not for another 8 minutes. I said do you mind if I sit down she said you can but I'm not going to pretend like we're open. There was no reason for sarcasm. So I went outside waited day minutes came back in she and forced me that if I'm not sitting down I have to have a mask. So I asked her again are you open. She said do you have a mask. I'm standing right by the seat that I'm going to sit down at to have a meal. The night before very few people had masks on everybody was doing great. So I decided they didn't want my money. I'm not there to debate The mask mandate or how you run your business I just wanted to get something to eat. I could have gotten it to go. But the night before was excellent it would have got you five stars for that night. But today was total rudeness...

The brunch menu at this pub does not have corned-beef hash! It's March! Sacrilege! So I ordered the Sunny Fried Potatoes, the waitress asked how I wanted my eggs "over-easy" & asked what kind of meat, "bacon". I also order a spicy bloody-mary (which was deliciius and spot on!) So plate delivered, eggs sunny side up (ok the menu says sunny side; I get it) I dig in, keep digging, no onions, no bell peppers and and although the potatoes where yummy, where's the meat? I brought to the attention of serving staff, -no bacon, no onions, no bell peppers and eggs not cooked as I requested, she said the cook/chef was new. I suggested that he should get a copy of the menu. Waitress was also was kind enough to remove the cost of the meal, but to the owner; corned beef hash should be on the brunch menu here,...

They have great food and I order out when I can. Word to the wise, if you use the online ordering be sure to call the pub to ensure your order got through. I’ve ordered through the website and when I get to the pub to pick up my order, it wouldn’t be ready. It’s happened twice, where someone at the pub forgot to turn on a machine/app/whatever and the app support actually had to call them up to let them know there was an order cause no one was confirming receipt of order. The second time it happened, it was a Sunday with no customers I could see and the servers were surprised when I mentioned i had an online order.
