The food was good. When dining in doors, be aware that the lighting is not ideal for pictures and/ or videos. It's very dark and hard to capture a decent picture. The service could improve, especially on customer service itself. Our waitress wasn't very knowledgeable about the dishes served or prepared on recommendations for anything we had questions about as this was mine and my flt crew's first visit during one of our many layovers in the area. On the plus side, we were served fresh bread upon being seated. I ordered the chicken tortellini soup. Unfortunately, there was no flavor, and it was luke warm, almost cold. I then ordered a side of grilled mushrooms from the appetizer options. It wasn't what I was expecting or hoped for. I then ordered the seafood lasagna. Again, unfortunately, the seafood lasagna was nothing I was expecting. It too lacked flavor, especially w/ the seafood elements. However, my CA, FO, and the FO's friend who joined us ordered the fettuccini chicken alfredo. It looked delicious, and I wanted to take a bite. With all that said, please don't jus go off from my experience and miss out on your own. If you're in the mood for some tiramisu, I can definitely recommend ordering a serving.

A great Italian restaurant with wonderful staff. The ambiance is like a little Italy. Restaurant is clean and staff was friendly and the service excellent. They start with complimentary white bread which was nice and warm with delicious garlic butter. The fried ravioli was a big hit on the table. We also ordered spicy cheese fritters. I personally did not find it to be spicy but I have a friend who was sensitive to spice and said she found it to have a spicy kick to it. The food was delicious and fresh. I ordered the vegetable primavera with pesto sauce and loved it. They have a wide variety of options. My friends ordered a shrimp pasta and a chicken Alfredo pasta and they loved their food. Ordered tiramisu and chocolate lava cake for dessert which were both delicious and the chocolate lava cake was decadent. Highly recommend this spot and will be back to try other options on the menu.

Fratesi’s in Ridgeland Mississippi offers a classic Italian dining experience that’s hard to beat. I went with a group of friends and ordered the Chicken Alfredo, which was creamy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The pasta had just the right texture, and the chicken was tender and well-seasoned. The side Caesar salad was fresh and crisp, with a deliciously tangy dressing that balanced the richness of the Alfredo. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made the meal even more enjoyable. If you’re in the area and craving authentic Italian comfort food, Fratesi’s is definitely worth a visit!

I was looking for that great local restaurant. Unfortunately, this isn't it. My wife and I arrived at opening time pn a Friday evening. When we walked in, we were immediately assaulted by the overpowering smell of bleach. It permiated the whole restaurant. We considered leaving right then, but decided to give it a shot. Bad decision. My wife ordered a large house salad with shrimp. The size of the salad was slightly larger than a typical side salad. It looked soggy and wilted. My wife confirmed it was both. I ordered spicy cheese balls and veal parmesan. The cheese balls were large, about the size of pool balls, and fried well. They were spicy, which I liked. However, they had a strange taste, almost metalic. This may be a result of the affect of the bleach on my taste buds. The veal parm portion seemed very large. It turns out about half the veal was actually eggplant. It might have said that in the fine print. I can't say as i didn't read it. In any case, I did not consider that a negative since the amount of veal was generous and I like eggplant parm, too. However, this dish had the same strange taste as the cheese balls. On the plus side, the veal was actually veal cutlets, not ground veal. On the minus side, it was chewy and bland. The server was pleasant and attentive. Perhaps everything else was tainted by the bleach, but I doubt I'll go back and I can't...

I really hate to make bad reviews but I just can’t let this go… first off our waiter was FANTASTIC but as for the food… I was highly disappointed to say the least. We had the garlic bread and red sauce for an appetizer, it was a plain bread with marinara sauce. We get a two house salads and it’s nothing but a huge bed of diced olives, we end up having to send the salads back but we’re still charged for them….We keep our heads up and my husband got a steak $38 nothing but fat and they carry not one kind of any steak sauce. My son gets a cheese pizza, it’s HARD French bread with a sloppy slap of marinara and half melted cheese on it. My son is not a picky eater by far and he wouldn’t touch it after two bites, another waste of $5. I had the Alfredo no meat for $15. It was okay after putting a ton of pepper and parmesan on it but the big kicker was EVERYTHING was COLD! I had my Alfredo heated up to be able to take a couple bites and we boxed the rest up to try to take home and do something with. Overall ended up going through a drive through after spending $87 on food that wasn’t ate plus a generous tip for our wonderful waiter who is the only reason we stayed and didn’t fully complain while in the restaurant. Sad to say we’ve been wanting to try Fratesis for years but we won’t ever...
