McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Ridgeland

We came to grab dinner and the lobby was locked and we were told we had to order on the app and pick up in the drive thru line. Well we didn't have the app so we called the number and placed our orders over the phone. The never asked for our names for the order over the phone, so when we got to the window a young girl asked for our names and since I was the one that placed it I tried to tell her that they didn't ask for our names, to which she took her hand and made the "close your mouth gesture" and said "I'm not talking to you I'm talking to her and pointed toward my mom" So I told her she didn't have to be rude! she leaves and sends another little girl to the window, this time the girl says "we are just waiting on one spud max" we said "okay, thank you" then she comes back and says "can you pull around for me" Mind you the line was wrapped around the building now at this point so my mom said "No, there's like 6 cars behind me ill just wait here" she rolls her eyes and walks off. They finally give us our food and we check the bag and we are missing a soup and some miscellaneous items and we waited for someone to come back but they didn't so I blew the horn to get someone's attention and then a different girl than the 2 before comes to the window. We tell her what we were missing and she goes to get it, comes back to the window and then looks at my friend who was in the back seat and says "you okay!?" and my friend said "I'm fine I just want to know why yall have an attitude" and the worker says "you can come outside if you want to" so at this point she's threatening us, meanwhile we have 3 minor children in the van with us, my mother AND I'm 7 months pregnant and her, the 2 girls from before and 2 guys come outside trying to call themselves wanting to fight..And the girl still forgot my soup. I've never seen such unprofessional workers in my life and I will be contacting corporate to get a refund for my soup and to get these employees gone since they want to try and fight their customers, pregnant women and all. 12/21/24 @ 5:20 Walking Into The Place It Was Only 2 Customers Ahead Of Me . One Purchased 2 Teas & A Cookie, The Next Purchased A Meal. I Purchased A Choose Two, & A Sandwich w| Chips. Super Simple. No Difficult Order. The Front Counter Rep (Raegan) I’m Assuming Her Name Per Receipt Has A Nasty Attitude. She Was Too Busy Giving Out Free Food To Her Friends Other Than Worrying About Her PAYING Customers. It Was Half Eaten Food Left On The Tables & You Can Tell It Was There For A Minute & The Lobby Only Had A Couple That Was Sitting In, Other Than That It Was Completely Empty. So It Should Be No Reason Food Still Sitting On Table & Y’all Are Super Slow. Then It Gets Worse As I’m Waiting To Get The Food Still Wondering What’s Taking So Long The Girl On The Line Who Bags Say With A Attitude “I'm About To Bag It Now” When I Asked How Much Longer. Come To Find Out The Cook Had Just Walked Back In PASSED Customers Coming From Outside Smoking Marijuana So He’s Moving In Slow Motion & Can’t Focus On Any Task At Hand. It’s No Way I Should’ve Waited 45 Mins For 2 Sandwiches & A Cup Of Soup, Then Still Was Missing Things Out Of My Order So I Had To Walk Back Inside. Heck Since The Front Counter Rep Was Giving Out So Much Free Food She Didn’t Even Offer A Cookie Or Nothing For The Long Wait. Horrible Customer Service All Around. Stop Having So Many Young Potheads Working...

I’ve been to this location maybe 4 times and the customer service is terrible each time. This will be my last time going back to this location. Today I walked in, a whole group of team members at the front…. Not one greeted me. Cool that’s fine, ordered my food. Never said that I wanted to place a to-go order nor did the lady ask. She asked for my name, me not thinking anything of it I went to sit down and I heard my name being called so I looked up they made my order to-go. Well okay, that’s fine I guess I’ll just take it home and eat. I asked for a cup of honey mustard and the young lady asked would I take brown mustard instead… when I asked do they not have honey mustard she said “well it’s 0.54 cents” I’m like ummm okay no problem I can pay 0.54 cents, with confusion I’m asking myself do I look like I can’t afford 0.54 cents?? Then I get home to eat my food and open the 0.54 cent honey mustard to barely even halfway full!! The what seem to be manager/team lead was yelling at the workers in the back about she was caked up in the parking lot with her man while I was waiting to be greeted or for my order to be taken.
