McB's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Ridgeland

Horrible service. My friend got an entree from the menu and when she received it it was not served with Texas Toast as the menu stated and the entree itself was not good at all. When she told the bartender about this she took the dish and said you’re the only one that’s complained about the food. I was fine up until that point, she never came back to ask her if she wanted anything else and when my friend finally caught her attention she said she was not taking off her meal only discounting her original meal half off even though she only took one bite. The bartender was rude about it and we got fed up and asked for the manager. When she explained the situation to the manager I added that she only took a bite and he raised his hand to me and made a comment along the lines of “excuse me” in an attempt try to hush me. I went to watch friends play music. (The Ballard/Journey Show) When I closed my tab I paid with my credit card & I asked them to put $20 extra on it so I could tip the band $20 & they refused without offering up a reason why. My credit card was good enough for them to clear my bill with them, but they don't care enough about the local musicians to put $20 extra on there so I could tip the musicians. The waitress could have offered to let me tip her $20 extra then hand me the $20 & she would have got it back when she did her checkout, but nobody cared enough about the band to offer a solution. I dought I will ever go in the place again but if I do I will have enough cash on me to tip the band because they were the only reason I went to this so-called good restaurant in the first place. I went there one day to see the football game that was playing on YouTube streaming. When we got inside they said we had to have reservations but they could accommodate you for $2 dollars a person in a standing area. I took myself next door to bulldog burger restaurant. They accommodated us. And yes. The food was better from a few years ago then what it was. I guess this restaurant only wants your money for standing room only for special services when you can go next door and still watch the same game and it's actually really better food. (only thing I can say is when you walk into a restaurant and want to order food watch a game and they're going to charge you a standing fee.
