Zen Haus cafe is by far the best coffee shop I have ever step foot in, and I’m very picky with my coffee. The coffee of the quality is amazing. I have visited over 50 coffee shops in the state, including Austin TX, and still haven’t found a one that matches the greatness and quality Zen Haus provides. Every single person I have ever brought here or bought coffee for, say the same thing, I can’t even make this up :”this tastes like real coffee”.
Food is amazing, but that’s an understatement. My favorite one Is the signature coffee, Viename. It’s not overly sweet at all, it’s SO smooth and it’s even better when I want a little pick me up.
I always look forward to come by and have some coffee but most of all, I feel so recharge every time I spent even 10 mins to just sit down and enjoy my coffee. Jaime, is so dedicated to what she does and loves it and it shows. Her costumer service skills, her warmth and personality overall are the kind that sticks with you and makes your day better. She has a beautiful soul and a very wise woman.
Parking is easy and really close by. Just when I thought it couldn’t feel cozier, Jaime makes the place look even more beautiful than when I last stepped foot in it. She’s such a great entrepreneur and human being. She also loves to collaborate with other business and has some of their products to sell as well, that in a way it also represents her. And omg please don’t get me started on the pastries, it’s becoming extremely hard not to buy more than one because they’re just EXCELLENT. I don’t like red velvet cake, but when my husband bought it, ever since I tried it I became obsessed with it. And don’t even get me started on her caramel cappuccino cookie. It’s not overly sweet and genuinely tastes like caramel cappuccino. They all go so well to have with the coffee as well.
I don’t just recommend Zen Haus, but I beg people to at least give it a try and check this place out because it is an experience I don’t want people to miss out on. That’s how good this place...
Read moreI looked up local caffès ☕️ and I found this one and decided to check it out. I am very happy with my choice of local cafe to try out. I had a very good breakfast sandwich with pesto and the coffee was very smooth and rich. It had a rose mocha taste which was very unique and yummy. I did not need sugar which I never put sugar in my coffee. I really enjoyed this place . The atmosphere is great with plants from a local plant store that they sell and greek jewelry from another local person . They support the community which I find wonderful . The owners son Trohn and the other worker Gigi were so friendly and welcoming . Trohn gave me a blueberry tea sample and also I tried the Ube cream that is a Filipino flavor made from purple yam and vanilla . It was delicious They made drinks with it . This place has been opened for 8 months only. It is relaxing cafe they have desserts and breakfast plus a lunch menu . They also make fresh juices at their other caffe and sell them here too. This cafe is definitely a diamond in the ruff ready to be discovered. I will be back when...
Read moreDisclaimer: Apparently this café has a second location in Fair Lawn. I have been to the Fair Lawn location as well and did not have a great experience there. Both locations are fairly different in terms of quality/atmosphere (judging from my own, personal experience). This review is for the Ridgewood location.
I am giving Zen Haus a 5 star review. I was blown away by the coffee and quick service. My friend and I were the only customers in at the time, which was shocking to me after receiving our orders because the coffee is really quite good (this is coming from a former barista). I wish I had left a larger tip for the employee behind the counter. I ordered a small black, iced coffee which I had to sip slowly. It was strong, but a good kind of strong—as the ice melted it didn’t dilute the flavor too much. My friend ordered something with salted caramel cold foam which she also loved. It is a little expensive, but it is worth it for the quality. The atmosphere of the cafe is very pleasant (especially if you have the place to yourself or there are...
