I normally enjoy Arby's. I dine at the Pooler location near the airport often.
I was working in Rincon and needed a quick mid-afternoon lunch nearby so I stopped at this Arby's.
The dining room is done in colorful retro, much like a casual eatery from the late 50's to early 60's. Fairly clean, although the beverage area could have used some attention.
The cashier gave the impression that I didn't fit their social or cultural qualifications. I don't recall a greeting. I was told that I'd be served momentarily, even though I was the only customer in line and one of three in the restaurant.
The attendant seemed to not have an interest in my order and seemed rushed to complete it even though, as I said, I was the sole patron in line. I had to remind the individual to provide a beverage cup.
The roast beef was not cooked to my liking, but I ate it because of time constraints. As described above, the beverage area needed attention.
As I was eating I noticed a patron enter and place an order. The attendant seemed very warm and engaging toward that patron.
I will be back next week. I trust these deficiencies will...
Read moreJUST WANT TO SAY UP FRONT WHAT I AM ABOUT TO SAY IS NOT ABOUT THE CASHIERS OR THE SERVERS IN IN THIS STORE!!! Stopped by the other day and ordered 2 of the 4 for 10 meals they had was told my total was about 22.oo. waited. Drove to window waited little guy who was taking care of window must have accidentally opened window as the MANAGER let at the workers have it about there was no more 4 for 10 meals. And offended me by talking to them the way he did. Then didn't have time to tell me but ran to back of store and left the little guy in the window to tell me. Never have I saw a MANAGER let a crew member stand and explain any kind of mistake to a customer. I found it extremely RUDE. The little guy then turned to me and said 37.00. I said No Thank you and Drove away. If manager had handled the problem and of addressed the problem I would have changed my order. But I am not going to give my money to a RUDE manager. Who talks to his people in the tone he used or the words, if the customer or the workers (who are mostly high schoolers) were not there YOUR MANAGER JOB would...
Read moreThis is by far the worst place to eat in all of Rincon. I have eaten here 3 seperate times over two years.
PROS! -parkinglot is good -easiest way to get food poisoning in rincon -Employees are actually really nice and friendly. You can tell they try their best. -clean, typically. It just smells.
CONS! -easiest way to get food poisoning in rincon. Yes, even from the curly fries. I ate the fries there and they tasted awesome, though the nausea for 9 hours afterward I could have dealt without. I have eaten three different items from the menu and gotten sick from each time. If you told me these people will drop the food on the floor and put it back up on the counter, I would believe you. -Managers talk down to customers and employees. -it smells. No, not in a good "arby's" kind of way, but in like a rotten food kind of way.
If you have a tolerance to extraordinarily low quality food making you sick, eat here. Otherwise, popeye's is literally 1...
