McDonald's — Restaurant in River Edge

I work outside so, before I order my food around lunch time (when places start getting really busy), I use the restroom and wash my hands. The restroom was very clean, especially for a busy place like McDonalds; it was obvious that someone cleaned it frequently. I ordered my food on the kiosk and paid at the counter and was met with a cordial crew member who was very kind and polite. As I was waiting for my food (two McChickens and a small fry), I watched the kitchen staff working. First, I saw the lady on the grill dispose of the paper on the quarter tray after she used it once (which is proper protocol), which was very good. Then, she put on new blue gloves before she started cooking more hamburger meat, following proper protocol once more. I even watched the lady make my sandwich exactly right. But then I saw someone bring up the freshly cooked folded eggs from the back of the kitchen. The lady finishing on the line took all 5 (or 6) of them and placed them in the same tray as the old folded eggs. She never set the freshness timer. I wonder how long those old folded eggs were there for: probably too long. After I saw this, I noticed that the McNugget timers were off as well, meaning that the lady finishing on line didn’t waste them like she should have after 20 minutes. The McChicken timers were set, or else I would have asked for a fresh McChicken. I wasn’t very impressed with the health standards of this McDonalds. I hope this can get fixed. If I could give zero stars I would first off I place my order and drive up to the window to pay the cashier and taking another order while I wanted to pay but she didnt realise until the end that she put 2 large drinks instead of 2 large fries that I asked for I was using a digital coupon so this slowed the process down if she would have repeated the order in the first place then it could have gone much smoother so now I get to the next window to get my food I ordered a 20 piece nuggets also a happy meal with nuggets they gave me 2 sauce like really so i asked for more the server then processed to say "what" that was the first big no no so I asked her can I have more sauce she says how many i said like 3 or 4 which is reasonable she then tells me i have to pay a dollar pay a dollar for what i said then she goes and gets the manager no problem I tell her what I ordered and I also said usually when I go to McDonalds they even put the at least one sweet and sour sauce in the box the manager said we dont do that fine In the end I got 2 sauce without paying for it but this place needs to work on their customer service skills because clearly they have none I was disgusted with how I was treating today and I will not come back to this location I am a paying customer and I should be treated as such if you dont like your job quit there is always someone willing to do your job better...

I’m ready for a good time and great taste at McDonalds.

As I was entering the store, the outside window advertisement immediately grabbed my attention.

This lunch prix fixe deal includes four selected items.

McDouble: This wasn’t the largest size sandwich, as it definitely is not equivalent to a Big Mac or Quarter Pounder. But, it was still fulfilling. The beef patty was layered with American cheese, pickles, onions, ketchup, and mustard.

Small Fries: Mickey D’s has and always will be known for their French fries because of their skinny shoe string appearance with a crunchy texture on the outside while fluffy on the inside.

Four-Piece Chicken McNuggets: This is probably one of the best finger foods this restaurant chain has to offer.

This is always my go-to whenever I visit this chain restaurant.

The tangy sweet and sour sauce is the backbone to this side.

Small Soft Drink: Wash your meal down with any Coca-cola product ranging from Coca-Cola to Sprite. Free refills are available upon request.

I definitely got the best of both worlds as I truly enjoyed this meal at a financially excellent price.
