The Human Bean — Restaurant in River Edge

We had this place on our list for a while and stopped in to try the coffee even though we had already been to two other coffee locations.

While I was ready to order a coffee immediately, I saw that a sign stated if you downloaded the app you would get a free coffee. However upon downloading the app and going through the installation process I found out that the free coffee was not available right away.

If a company is going to offer something for free, especially to a new customer, then they should make sure that the system is set up to make sure it works 100%.

Even when I was ready to order it took several minutes before I was acknowledged as a customer. When I finally received my coffee order, I was disappointed as the coffee lacked any flavor or uniqueness compared to the hundreds of other coffees I've had.

The display of cupcakes looked amazing but had no prices on them so I didn't bother getting one. I never liked to ask about prices. If you're going to sell items and have prices on them.

The restaurant was clean and bright enough, but for the price of the coffee that doesn't stand out at all among the crowd I don't see a reason to come back...

Probably, the best coffee shop in the area and one of the best places I've even been!

The moment you enter the cafe you are greeted wth bright open smiles (not the scripted ones if you know what I mean) of the baristas who are ready to answer any question you come up with with not readiness - no! with the greatest of passion and patience! Wait for your order is minimal.

Cupcakes, donuts, muffins, sandwiched to treat yourself to. Sausage cheese & egg croissant is a mere masterpiece! Add to this a Chocolate Macadamia Nut Breve or Cold Foam Cold Brew or a regular hot coffee and your day is off to a good start!

This is not all! They will even return your lost headphones asking in advance the color and shape to make sure that it's yours.

It's not only the idea that makes a place great - its the people working there. 5 stars to the place and 10 strs to the people who make me want to return here again!
