UPDATE I’m not sure if it’s because I ordered through UberEats and they didn’t know it was me (I come here often as a walk in), but customer service should be at 100% regardless. I placed an order on UberEats for a beef Philly, called the location literally less than 1 minute from placing the order to ask if they could put light onions and peppers on my sandwich as usual (UberEats doesn’t allow this type of note while ordering), they agreed, only for me to get my meal and it was so sloppy and FILLED with onions and peppers to the point there was barely any meat, I tried to pick the sandwich up and it fell apart and revealed even more onions and peppers UNDER the sandwich, I don’t know if that was some sort of a sick joke or what but it was baffling; pissed me off so bad I ended up going up to the restaurant to have it remade because I’m not eating that mess, but that totally negates the reason for me doing UberEats to begin with (I obviously didn’t feel like driving wth).. get to the restaurant to have them remake it, the cook was mad about it, okay, oh well, your fault little buddy. To say I’m pissed would be to say nothing. They got a whole new team up there from when I last left a review (4 months ago) so maybe that’s why the service has gone down the drain, cause this is my second bad experience here since the new team members. All in all, will not order from them again. That’s for sure. (Pics below is from previous order and current order, I bet you can easily guess which one is which smh)
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I see a lot of bad reviews for this spot but honestly everytime I come here I’m treated pleasantly and my food is always good and fresh and depending on who is there cooking you will got lots of meat on your Philly (if that’s what you’re ordering). Now I will admit every now and then they may fry my wings too hard but if anything needs to be corrected they’re always nice about it. The customer service is usually good, especially if the slim black woman with the locs takes your order, she’s always on point and gives a little extra southern hospitality! Read moreI did an online order via Uber Eats which I chose to pick up. Upon arrival I gave my name and received my order which was given to me in a bag that with receipt stapled to it by an older Asian lady. I asked for sauce which she said it was in the bag. I opened the bag and explained to her that I ordered shrimp fried rice w/sweet chile wings. Which was on the receipt by the way. The container was taken a few feet away to one of the cooks which resulted in all 4 workers standing over the open container talking about the order. I then explained that I didn’t want that food and asked for a new order. One of the female cooks took the buffalo wings from the container and proceeded to re-toss those same wings into a bowl with sweet chili sauce and handed it back over the counter to me😳. I refused it and asked for my $18.65 back. Was told to call Uber eats, which I did and was told they couldn’t help me. While I’m communicating with Uber eats the lady asked for my receipt saying she’s giving me a return but in actuality she took my receipt and said she’s blocking my number and to never come there again. However, today I called in over the phone and placed my order and the young lady Nyiesha who took my order asked if I would like to pay over the phone or when I pickup my food. I replied that I would like to pay over the phone which I haven't done it in the pass but I know that things have changed due to COVID-19. I placed my order around 1145am. Around 3pm i received notification from my bank that someone try to purchase $520 worth of merchandise using my debit card. How ironic is it that I hadn't left the house all day and the only transaction I made was at this establishment and a few hours later my card is used fraudulently. I proceeded to contact the buisness and spoke with the manager who did not speak good English. At first the manager proceeded to tell me that this could not be possible and I asked how can you be sure of that?? He then stated that he would check his camera and call me back. After about 30 minutes he called back and said that he did not see where she could have used my card for anything other than my order of $52.12.
