DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! I was very happy to see African cuisine so I stopped in. Prices are not worth the quality of the food. I ordered Jolie rice which came with fish, chicken or beef. So I asked for fish. Thinking it would be a piece but to my surprise, it was a nuggets of fish..SMH so the owner said she would give me some beef to go with the fish. The beef was like shoe leather!! I couldn't even chew it!! I mean dog treat tough!! I paid extra for spinach and plantain. They gave one small serving of spinach that had absolutely no kind of taste at all. The plate was filled with so much rice and sadly the rice was dried out and had no flavor. As for the nugget of fish...it had to be old cause it was so dry out and like everthing else, no taste. Overall it was a waste of time and money. I will not be going there again! I talked to the owner and she agreed to give me $4 back for the shoe leather beef. Lastly, I had to wait 20 mins to get a platter that I came home and threw right in the trash. The best things I had was the ginger beer soda that came in a bottle, I had coco bread that was great and the plantain were fried fresh. I rate this place a...
Read moreI gave a review some time ago that was great. Well my tune has changed. If you want catering from here please get a understanding of what it is you're paying for. I was charged $350 for a half pan of Chicken Egusi and a half pan of Beef Egusi with 6 to 8 fufu. I haven't eaten here since. This was for my birthday. I decided to put that behind me and give it another shot. I placed a pickup order a few days ago got there to pick it up. Paying $30 for two Egusi and fufu. I believe it was spoiled. I've eaten here a lot in the past and was addicted. Had she not over charged me for my birthday dinner I probably would still be eating here. But the food we ordered recently I couldn't eat it, it was just that bad it smelled and tasted spoiled. Needless to say I had to throw it out after spending$30. I want be going back. So eat here at your own risk. I guess like anywhere else it's...
Read moreDid not want to make a long drive to Marietta for good Nigerian food so I decided to try this place for the first time. I was told one price over the phone ($43) and then when I got there to pick up the food, the price was $60 for two orders of suya and jollof. The jollof rice was $16 each and the suya was $12 each which doesn’t even make sense for the rice to be more than the meat. When I expressed this, the older woman who checked us out said that the taste of the food would bring us back. I told her, I won’t be able to afford to come back! The suya was the toughest suya I have EVER had in my life and the jollof was disgusting. I’m not sure how this restaurant is still in business. It must be some...
