I recently visited Charley's Cheesesteaks and ordered the original cheesesteak combo with a strawberry lemonade. The experience was fairly decent, though there were a few areas that could be improved.
The cheesesteak itself was just okay. It was definitely cheesy, which is a positive, but I found the overall taste to be a bit too salty for my liking. The balance of flavors could use some tweaking to enhance the overall experience. As for the fries, they were alright but could have been fried a little harder to achieve that perfect crispiness. They were slightly undercooked, which detracted from the overall satisfaction of the meal.
The strawberry lemonade, on the other hand, was refreshing and complemented the meal well. It was a nice addition that added a bit of brightness to the otherwise average meal.
Despite the minor issues with the cheesesteak and fries, my experience was not bad. The meal was filling and the service was good. I'm interested in exploring the other items on their menu that I haven't tried yet, as there might be some hidden gems. Overall, it was an okay visit and I plan to return to see what else Charley's Cheesesteaks...
Read moreThe food is fresh and delicious but the process is extremely long! They open at 10 but really 10:30. The cashier took my WHOLE ORDER then told me that his register doesn’t work bc he’s not assigned to it😒 then if you get wings they don’t come with a dipping sauce. They will offer you a sauce but won’t tell you they are 60 cents, even the first one. Then when I put my hand out and said thank you for my food, the cashier went around my hand to put the food on the counter. I ended up leaving the food Ayer I paid bc I was extremely annoyed. The manager eventually showed up extra late and I guess was now ready to give out a drawer. Two other customers left without ordering since they didn’t have a card for the kiosk. I’m upset bc I normally...
Read moreSo I decided to try it while in Walmart for me and my daughter. Everything is sold separately so it can get pretty expensive for some mediocre or subpar food. I’ve never seen lettuce and tomato on a Philly but whatever, I ordered me and my daughters minus the lettuce and tomato just meat cheese onions 2 orders of fries and 2 lemonades. The lemonade is best thing on the menu but I spent about 30 dollars to feed me and my daughter. The Philly was horrible and I love Phillies I’ve had them in Philadelphia and they’re made and taste way better this place is horrible and expensive save the money and go get some frozen steakums out the freezer section hoagie roll and you’ll come out cheaper...
