Juicy Crawfish - Riverdale (inside Walmart Shopping Center) — Restaurant in Riverdale

Horrible customer service skills. I order from this place on the regular and spend a good amount of money every time. The other day I placed an order with one of my regular menu items, which was the shrimp fried rice. I noticed the rice was extremely hard and had a different smell but didn't make a big deal about it. I sprinkled some water over it and warmed it up but that didn't help, it was still hard and smelly. I placed it back in the fridge and tried one more time but was only worse. I called to speak with a manager, which the guy that answered said was he and that his name was Paul. I explained to him what took place and that I am a regular customer. After trying to dismiss me, he says we're busy on that day so we sell out fast...I was like that doesn't have anything to do with me, I'm just telling you my issue. He then says well maybe they didn't put enough water in so I'll tell them for next time. I say so you're not going to reimburse me in any way, he gets quite and just held the phone. I absolutely love The Juicy Crawfish brand and the food is so good. I normally go to the One located in Union City but when this one opened up I was excited because it’s closer. It’s a smaller building and I was a loyal patron of the company that was located there before this building opened up. My first time eating here was a couple of days ago. I will say there is a contrast difference between the service I receive here and at the Union City location. The energy here is very… blah. The employees look like they don’t want to be there and when they hand you your food it’s more of a toss off than a thank you for your business type feel. The one in Union City they greet you, have cute music playing, and at least look like they want to be there… I got the LB Shrimps with No Head which I love. However, it was EXTREMELY mushy and didn’t really taste seasoned how the Union City location does. They also give you a little less than their sister location as well. Never did I ever think that I would experience a restaurant with a bad seafood boil. Well ladies and gents, I did and it's THIS location. A coworker actually recommended Juicy Crawfish to me one day at work when I was looking for a place to get a good seafood boil. The best location so far seems to be the one in Union City. With this particular location I ordered a half pound of shrimp no head, a pound of crawfish, all potatoes, 3 boiled eggs with garlic butter and lemon pepper seasoning. I'm use to the seafood "swimming" in the bag but, that wasn't the case with this location. Little to no sauce in the bag. The potatoes were VERY undercooked and so was the shrimp and crawfish. I had to drop the bag in a boiler of water when I made it home to finish the cooking. Otherwise I would've been sick as a dog! Yeah, I'm gonna pass on this location for a while. They need more experience under their belt before I can go back. I'll give it about 6 or 7 months an then revisit but right now, it's a...
