Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Riverside

Ice cream is always great. However this is the 3rd time in about a month. That my family and I have come to enjoy some at about an hour before closing and you guys are either closed. Or your employees are saying the dinning room is closed. Tonight was Sunday 9/25/22. Your hours say open till 9pm. We get there and that time is clearly posted on the window. But immediately after we walk in. 1 of your 3 employees there started putting the chairs up on top of the tables. My wife asked , we can still dine here right? And one of the young ladies says , no sorry. The dinning room is closed because we close in an hour. Excuse me? You have 3 employees and an hour left. You have plenty of time and help. This is the second time. The other we were enjoying ice cream and at about 25 mins to closing they told us , ok dinning room is closing. We have to lock up. Sorry you have to leave. And they locked up at 8:30 You need to keep better tabs on you young employees that just try to close early all the time. Very unprofessional and they project a poor picture of your business. This photo is at 8:06p. , notice the main lights are turned off and all chairs are put up. And the male employee walked up and took down the posted hours sign. Not good customer service at all. Was a little disappointed this visit. We tried to use a happy eats gift card to pay for our ice cream since it has cold stone right on the front. Iwas told that my card was old because it wasn't reading. I just took that one out of the package and checked the balance and it was loaded. So the kid tried again with a second card I had and it was still rejected. When he asked the manager she said "oh we don't take those gift cards". The lady that wears the scarf over her head is so rude and this isn't the first time! The other girl was making my ice cream and added the banana but literally put like an inch, so I asked her to add more and she was but then the lady asked her what size did I order and she reprimanded her in front of customers. Then my son ordered a smoothie and I guess she was adding too much of something and she was getting scolded in front of customers by this lady again and the girl was embarrassed!
