Arrived at this Panda location next to Lowe’s at around 9pm ended up leaving walking out the door by 9:40pm almost an hour and only six people in front of me. Also for some reason (owners order most likely) if you ask for a ONE item plate they always give you double serving and they charge you for an extra item (Always) and then they act like they can’t understand you (specifically the Asian guy that’s the manager or owner), Today the same thing happened without fail. He also put his FINGERS in the sauces he was serving me after I paid and handles my food with no gloves after charging me!!! ( This Manager thinks others peoples health is a joke even during a Pandemic!!!) When I was paying the Asian guy must of not liked how I looked (I’m always respectful to everyone no matter their background) cause he was charging me for things I didn’t order and he kept acting like he couldn’t understand English and wouldn’t allow the other workers help correct the order even after the lady and I repeatedly went over the order about twenty times I gave up after almost ten minutes of him pretending to not understand, and got away with overcharging me again ( the Asian guy was very rude and stand-offish). It wasn’t until he heard me speaking Spanish thanking the Hispanic lady for trying to help, that’s when he tried to change his attitude towards me (so good luck dealing with this Asian guy even if you look slightly white he’ll treat you with animosity and that’s how this Panda manager or owner treats his loyal customers of 20+years). Also he always treats the Hispanic Women that work there for him with disrespect from what I’ve seen (he’s very rude to them talks and treats them like slaves which is NOT okay in this country). Read moreI eat here pretty regularly (probably 10x in the last 6 months) becaus it's across the parking lot from my 'happiest place on earth' aka Lowe's. I feel the customer service is quite good and has been every time I have come. Jenny, Melissa and Jessica are regularly working on the weekends and evenings when I am most often there and feel they are always working hard and clearly display a positive attitude....there is always a line when I'm there. They appear to do a lot of business so I don't feel it's 'poor management' when they run out of one item. It's the nature of being busy and prioritizing...I always have steamed veggies rather than rice or noodles and appreciate that they cook it often and in small batches so it's not 'steam table wilted'.....there have been occasions when they are out and are quick to prepare more....sometimes I have to ask but usually they are on top of it (the only reason I rated a 4/5). I feel they are well on top of keeping the place clean too....with children eating rice and noodles, there is always a mess under a table but it's not there long. Professionally I manage an air condition manufacturing operation and can only hope to have employees who are as diligent and professional.....we all would like to think we are working with an 'all star team' but in reality, we all only have a cross section of society. Read moreUnfortunately, Panda's website directed me to the wrong "location near me". It's totally on me that I didn't catch it as I typically double check and just didn't since I had given access to my location. After quickly realizing the order went to this location, I called to let them know. I was advised that they would simply cancel the order and I would be refunded within 2-3 business days. Unfortunately, it's just over 2 weeks later now. I called the store again a few days back. The girl who answered literally laughed when I explained what had happened so far and said they couldn't help, so another person took over the call. Again, I wasn't upset as I messed the order up. I was told to be patient as nobody had started the process to generate my refund. They then said before hanging up, "no promises as we don't typically do refunds, but good luck."
Again, ordering at the wrong place is my fault as I didn't double check panda's accuracy and this location is 35 minutes from me. I'm posting this solely because they provided poor customer service and then set an expectation for a refund (without me prompting) only to laugh and tell me "we don't refunds" 2 weeks later.
