Papa Joe's Pizza — Restaurant in Riverside

The new management is the WORST they have EVER had. When I got home my pizza was burnt. I tried calling to make an exchange and when I showed up he was trying to be cocky in front of other guests and said I had to show him the pizza because his pizzas don't come out burnt. So I had to drive back home bring back my burnt pizza and all he had to say was "this is how ALL my pizzas come out." He said that if he remade it that it would come out the same way. He said if I don't like it to have my money back. I used to come here all the time but never again after this. It was so rude. I've worked at a pizza place for a couple years and he thinks this is how pizza should be. Not every pizza you make should be well done only the ones that are requested. He needs to do four things... fix his oven temperature, fix the time in which his pizzas go through the oven, lower prices (super overpriced for quality) and forth he needs to learn a good lesson in customer service, humility and maturity if he wants his...

Pizza was awesome! We got a normal med cheese, med pepperoni, their chicken spinach pizza but subbed the sauce for white sauce, & an order or the garlic bread. Huge fan of the pizza! You can truly taste the quality ingredients this place uses. We usually get pizza at dominos or little ceasers but decided to try this place out. It did not disappoint. Huge difference in taste between the big chain this pizza shop. The one thing I didn’t care for was the garlic bread. Can’t quite put my finger on what might be missing or needs to change but that would probably be my only complaint. My kiddos loved them tho. The garlic bread has fresh mozzarella which tasted good just wasn’t for me. The service was great from my phone call order to pick up, the gentleman was very friendly. This place is a hidden gem with delicious pizza but let me start with the service. Service was amazing, the owner was very helpful, polite and very nice. So now to the Pizza, the pizza was very good the taste of the dough and the sauce it’s unexplainable (on a good way) they are homemade. This was our first time and definitely won’t be our last if you do decide to eat here you will definitely not regret it. My favorite pizza was the Meat Signature Pizza it has pepperoni, canadian bacon, sausage, salami and the best of all was the pieces of bacon that got me, the bacon is actually well cooked bacon not like other places that you’ll get soggy half cooked bacon, my second favorite pizza was BBQ chicken pizza and if you like barbecue sauce you’ll definitely like this one, the third favorite pizza was the Tuscan pizza and the last which don’t get me wrong it was also very good but personally my 4th pizza would be Santa Fe chicken pizza.
