Panera Bread — Restaurant in Riverside

I'm very conflicted about this location. I just moved into the area 2 weeks ago and I've been a tad busy with settling in and working full time warehouse so I've been visiting this Panera location more times than I'd like to admit. The first visit was perfect, food was on time, environment was chill, one of the employees was extremely attentive and overall I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. This prompted me to return to this location multiple times within the last 2 weeks but unfortunately there was a new issue with my orders everytime I came back. I usually order with Rapid Pickup and even though I arrive 10 or so minutes AFTER the scheduled pick up time my order is never ready. Whenever my order is eventually "prepared" I'm missing one or multiple food items or being issued substitutes or refunds for items that have been sold to me but sold out when I arrive to pick up. And "preparing my food" is giving them too much credit. I'm sorry but every order I have recieved, all of the items look like they are just tossed into the bag with no consideration for presentation or transportation. (And I always check my food for errors as soon as I'm handed my order so it's not me tossing the food around while I drive home or something) All in all I have probably visited this Panera about 10 or so more times within the last 2 weeks (sad I know) and about 90% percent of my visits have been plagued by the issues stated previously. I even visited the San Dimas Panera within this 2 week span and they got my order wrong too!! So is it all Paneras or just two poorly run locations?? I hate giving reviews like this but after going through and reading the other reviews for this location and seeing others going through the same situations I am, I felt obligated to do so. Hope something changes quickly with Quality Control here because I truly love the food and it sucks when I have to stop coming due to excessive...

Cabot! Not sure if he is a manager or not but he is an excellent server. He goes as far as picking up my dishes after I finish eating (although we can do that ouselves). He always greets me with respect and professionalism. This gentleman has upper management written all over him. Customer service goes a long way in my book, and this person knows what customer service is. Thank you kind sir.

The only reason I'm giving this place a 4 star is because it's so busy in there that it's hard for them to keep the place clean and tidy. I do acknowledge its super busy, but perhaps they can hire more help.

The food is great, and I love their Mediterranean sandwich! Also, their Modern Greek Salad with Quinoa is good also. I love that they give you the option to choose the side, you can go healthy with an apple, or not so healthy with delicious and soft bread, hahaha! Too yummy!

This is the worst service for Panera Bread. I have been at this location 3 times. The first time was good..slow but good. The 2nd time food was slow then it was wrong I asked for Tuscan sandwich and got a Cuban Idk how you mix that up when I asked for no Tomato and there is no tomato at on the Cuban. And finally the 3rd time I did a Rapid order because I learned from the first two experiences that this location is slow well I placed my order at 1:00 to be picked up at 2:45pm, I get to the store at 3:01pm and they never made my food nor is it anywhere near ready. Needless to say I’m not coming back to this one I just can’t wait 20 mins on a salad and soup/half sandwich when my break is 30mins long or when I’m just ready to go...
