this review is regarding a purchase of a trade-in phone. i put the 3 stars for the reason being that we had an irresponsible employee mess up then we had an excellent employee help us.
on saturday my boyfriend his family traded in their iphone 12 pro maxes at target. he got an iphone 15pro then as soon as he got home he tried syncing his icloud & it wasnât working and he also had a problem w the sound w his earbuds. his family also had problems syncing their old phones w their new phones. the next day (today) we all went to at&t and his family was able to get everything synced. my boyfriends phone was freezing and turning off and the employee said it could be defected due to apple having defected iphone 15 pros having issues and being commonly defected since their launch. he said we should try and go to the apple store.
we decided to go to target and see if they could do something about it (hopefully an exchange). for about an hour a girl who was new was helping us. she had great customer service, since she was new she was just asking a more experienced coworker for help on the phone. a more experienced employee came and took over(her name is marissa). she told us what the problem was. the employee (named jacob) that sold the phones rushed and scanned the wrong code which messed up the set-up of the new phone. since he turned the service off on the old phone, neither of the phones could be used.
marissa helped us get in contact w at&t so we can exchange the new phone and turn the service back on on the old phone. she was very kind and helpful. she gave us her number to make sure we could contact her in case of any other issues.
edit: i wanted to add this store is a mess so i changed my rating to 2 stars. i didnât even wanna take a picture like itâs crazy bad. clothes on the floor, clothes falling off hangers, clothes not on the right rack, tightly packed racks so you have to squeeze by, home items lack dishes and kitchen appliances. at least the employees are nice! what i recommend is getting a security at the entrance. iâve been to many target and one of them was in a worse area than this w lots of homeless people outside, but the inside of the store is always neatly organized and stocked. they have a security inside, sometimes outside too. the people selling things at the entrance or the parking lot are not a problem at this target as they arenât either at the target i just mentioned. whatâs needed is stricter security inside and more on floor staff.
edit (again): clean the bathrooms or add an air freshener at least bc damn it...
Read moreI like this location better than the Arlington store. Most of the employees are friendly and go a great job. The curb side pick up has always been quick and easy. It's always very clean, which might be because go early before customers trash the place. I don't love the fact that there's only one register open in the morning. They count self check as 4 open registers, but that's a joke. it's way to0 difficult to use self check when you have a a full cart. There's simply not enough room. Their registers seem to have issues quite often too. There have been several times that I had to move alley stuff to another register because of computer issues. I appreciate that the carts are kept clean, though whatever they clean with with makes my hands itch like crazy every single time. I have to wear gloves to touch them. lol I'm not sure how much of a difference clean carts makes when employees show up sick and coughing. I have seen this a few times. There was a lady today sniffling, clearing her throat non stop, coughing etc. So gross. Just stay home if you're sick. I wish they'd get one of the fans for their door that blows air to keep the flies out. What's the point of having a Starbucks when it's always full of flies. I prefer drink and snacks that flies did...
Read moreRacial profiling...........I went to self check-out in this store. As I am standing waiting my turn in line I noticed an associate standing and allowing other customers to shop freely without standing in close proximity to them. As soon as my turn came around this young seemingly white associate comes over to stand directly behind me. At first I thought nothing of it. My back was to her and I began to get the sense that she was watching me and me alone because there were other customers there at the time but none of them fit the same description as myself. I happen to look behind me to my left and noticed this associate looking over my shoulders and down at what I was doing. I said nothing to anyone at this store because I have noticed this taking place before in the past. Here's what I would like to say: Be very careful discriminating against customers because while you are watching customers who are seemingly African-American or black others could be ripping you off and I am sure they do. I will not continue to shop in a place that outright discriminates against customers and who has the filthiest shopping carts at any store I have shopped at...
