đ i gotta agree with a few reviews from here. Ive been here (RIVERSIDE) twice since they opened not even a week ago and yes! The flies are true đȘ° i think the owners must know that it takes money to make money. Try a little harder put one of those door fans to keep the flies out specially when the donuts are just the on the open on the racks. I understand you guys are very busy ive seen this both times i been there but try harder you guys are just starting dont kill off clientele before hitting it off. So im originally from L.A area so when i saw Randys was coming to town đ my heart and eyes lit up!! I was so happy!!! Im very much familiar with Randys donuts and LOVE THEM!! Another complaint and again its twice in less than a week and when you think the owners would be the jolliest welcoming their potential years to come loyal clients. Its like the Seinfeld âsoup naziâ episode. Youâre there because you love RANDYS donuts but manâŠ. đ those egg shells i feel im walking on to get them yummy donuts đ© the way they talk to you đ REALLY need to work on that customer service. I worked 20 years combined in two restaurants when i was younger. I know some customers expect to be treated like kings- come spend $10 and expect $100 dollars of service, believe me. Thats not what i expect, just the tone- the faces. Make us feel like coming back not like youâre doing us a favor by allowing us to spend our hard earned money on your business. It doesnât take much.. you already have the brand Randys backing you up. Do your part. Or hire more friendly faces if you cant pull one off. Anyway, Randys welcome to Riverside!!! Randys as a whole is a great donut franchise. One bad store doesnât define the rest. Hope these fixable...
Read moreLet me say that I am a huge fan of Randyâs Donuts in Inglewood. Although I live in the IE, I try to visit that location when itâs possible. When I saw that they had opened in riverside, I was super excited to have one close to home. If I remember correctly via their IG, itâs a franchise and not a corporate store. My first visit was confusing. There were two employees - one who seemed to be training the other and they both kept switching off when helping me and tending to the next customer and then coming back to me. This caused some confusion. Thatâs okay, though. This kind of stuff can work itself out at a new store and hopefully they become more familiar with everything. The store is very small and it was busy. The selection seems good but not nearly as good as the original location but that makes sense judging by the size.
The trouble began with the purchase. I donât remember all the exact prices, but I estimate Classic donuts were around $1.85. There was a deal where if you buy a dozen of them, then you get $2 off. I bought the dozen donuts, but the donuts were still $1.85. I asked about the $2 discount and staff said it was already incorporated into the price. What? So if you buy 6 donuts vs. 12 donuts, the price per donut is $1.85? She said yes. There seemed to be a lot of confusion regarding the register, the discount and the donuts. We finally figured out the issue, but it took awhile. My first visit, the donuts were okay. Not truly Randyâs level but not bad. Second time, the donuts were uncooked and lacked consistency. I do hope things get figured out and Iâll continue to try them again in hopes that the kinks are ironed out. Starting out new can be difficult for a...
