The old spaghetti factory has become a favorite over the years. The seating arrangements easily accommodates large families and groups and for smaller parties the trolly makes unique seating and the smaller booths provide and unexpected intimate feel in this hustle bustle place. I've finally found something on the menu I enjoy and look forward to every time. I recommend the meat lovers if you are used to an American spaghetti. It has 2 large meat balls and one spicy Italian sausage. My husband prefers a more traditional sweet red sauce so he orders the rich taste of the Mizithra pasta. The pesto salad dressing is amazing if you enjoy a ranch style dressing. Meals also come with a ice-cream dessert. We often get the Spumoni and just eat the pistachio and strawberry sections. 😆 Service continues to be something to desire. It seems as though the waiters loathe helping others tables or having help with their tables, even if it is a large group. The last 3 large groups I've eating with here have had the same issue where our assigned server either refuses help or other waiters/bussers are standing around clearly not offering help to our large group table that was unattended. Also, I feel that there should be some training provided to wait staff to space out the salad and main course each time we have had the same issue. Salads finally are placed before us after what feels like forever and then two bites into the salad the main course arrives and ends up cold by the time we finish the salad. 😞 Management should also train wait staff to inform patrons of upcharges of things asked for such as extra sauce. Often time this place is sauce stingy so just beware that apparently there is an upcharge if you want sauce on all your pasta 😆 but they dont tell you until the bill comes. Lastly, I would not consider this a vegan or vegetarian friendly place as I did not enjoy what I ordered previously when on that type of dietary...
Read moreWorst experience dining ever! PAMELA did a horrible job since the beginning to end of service. Took 15 minutes for someone to come take our drink order which was someone who wasnt our server. She came about 5-10 minutes later with our drinks, didn't introduce herself just asked if we were ready to order which we weren't at the moment. I asked her about some food items since this was our first time and she didnt even know how to describe them she was rolling her eyes explaining the whole time. Once getting our food she forgot to put in an order of shrimps which my husband got for his spagetti which he recieved when he was already almost done with it. She mentioned "sorry the shrimp are taking alittle longer since they're frozen" first of all you should never say that to a guest that the food is frozen. She then forgot to bring my husbands rootbeer which we had to ask someone else for. She didnt come to the table for about 15 minutes and our plates were all done waiting to order desert. She came to ask if we were "okay" and I said "no we are not okay because we want to order desert and you haven't came" and she said "yes dessert is last" I said "what do you mean it's last?" and she said "yes cus you said you werent okay and dessert is always last so that's what I'm gonna bring right now and plus ive been busy in the back that why I havent came" she said in the rudest way possible I couldnt believe it. I told her she had been taking a long time and that many things we wrong by her part in service and she rolled her eyes at me, so I proceeded to just order our dessert. She was so unproffessional. Mind you I have my own Food Business so I know what it takes to run a successful business. This was our first and last time going to this restaurant don't recommend it. Very small portions of...
Read moreWe dined here as a family last Friday night. When we pulled up around 7pm, the parking lot looked pretty packed, so my husband got out of the car real quick to find out how long the wait would be. We were pleasantly surprised that they told him 20-30 minutes, so we then went to find a parking spot. We then got out of the car to walk into the resaurant, but all along the sidewalk outside the restaurant, there was a very strong sewer smell--that, of course, was very unpleasant. When we walked into the restaurant, there was another unpleasant smell that was not as strong, and quite a bit harder to define. Not sewer, though. We only waited MAYBE 5 minutes and were told a table was ready! I'm very glad to say that once we got o the table, there was no unpleasant odor. I think our server's name was Ethan, and he wasn't horrible, but would've been nice if he had been slightly more warm and welcoming. We ordered our food, and it did take quite some time to receive our appetizer of garlic cheesy bread. In fact, it came out after we received our soups and salads, but fortunately, we were there for a leisurely evening and meal--hoping some of the crowd would die down for the Festival of Lights afterward. We all seemed fairly happy with our food, though for my liking, you can definitely tell the food has a crazy amount of sodium. I wouldn't recommend eating here all the time. About two-thirds of the way through our meal, our server inexplicably donned a face mask. I'm completely disgusted and grossed out by those bacteria-laden materials. They really should have no place in a restaurant. The fact that anyone is still wearing them is mind boggling. Anyway, we had a nice evening, but I just would not go back. I think there's just a plethora of other choices that are...
