Outrageous Cakes Tampa Bakery — Restaurant in Riverview

It truly saddens me to have to write this review because i believe all companies deserve a chance to make good when the ball is dropped unfortunately this company choose not do so. After many failed attempts to get a call back and slowly delayed email responses (except for the one via the google review) i left a review via our journey with this company explaining the lack of communication and how stressful it can be as a bride. I also advised via my review that me sharing my experience doesnt mean this company is a bad company just be mindful if you are on a time crunch fair right i think so. I also voiced how i was excited to try this company because of their many flavors. I made sure to still with hold the integrity of this company while reviewing. I also said you know what we are in pandemic be more patient because we as consumers can be demanding! So i updated the review with 4 stars and stated i will let you know how the design turns out and flavor. Despite the delayed responses and no call back or cake tasting i still had faith in this company right because we should support small businesses. I get an email saying because of my review it’s best I find someone else to do my cake. Interesting how life works. We are begging this company for invoices to pay and cakes to try and a simple reply and we get the boot. Doesn't make sense to me. Our experience wasn’t great but yours...

From beginning to end, our experience with Outrageous Cakes was great! We were a little late in ordering but they met us in the middle for a beautiful cake for our 7 year-old's birthday party. Normally the ponies would be fondant -- there was not enough time so they went the extra mile to buy MLP toys to put on the cake. They even asked what ponies were her favorite. The communication was clear and consistent and they checked in with me every step of the way to make sure our needs were met. They delivered the cake exactly when I was ready to receive it (Working mom with long hours!). Now---the taste. IT WAS DELICIOUS! We took delivery on Friday early eve for a Saturday afternoon party. We left the cake out overnight -- (we were told that was fine or fridge was fine). There wasn't a dry bite in that cake. We had 6 kids and 6 adults and there were still leftovers. Our daughter selected a cookies and cream cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. I was skeptical (she's 7!) ---but again, it was delicious. It is pricey, no doubt ---but the craft of the cake, care of the order, quality of the communication and the deliciousness that followed--- all made it worth...

BEYOND AMAZING! I ordered a cake for my husbands 50th surprise birthday party and not only did it taste DELICIOUS it was so well made. I requested a slot machine cake that’s two tiered made of carrot and red velvet. I also wanted to customize some of the details. They worked with me making sure I got exactly what I wanted down to every last detail. The cake was delivered on time as promised and it was the main attraction . The cake was also moist and fresh . Everyone is still talking about how tasty the carrot cake was . I’ll definitely be ordering with them again in the future for any of my events! I can’t thank them enough for delivering...
