Honestly wish I could give zero stars. Terrible reasturant from the service to the food and even worse prices. By far the worst coney island I've ever been too. Ordered our drinks and saganaki at the same time. got our saganaki, ate and finished it and still didn't get our drinks. Took almost 20 minutes before we even got them. I told my boyfriend lets just get up and leave, man did i regret staying, it just got worse. Refills? Not once did she come over to refill the pop, or the coffee. Had to get up and goto the counter to ask for more coffee. She was so unbelievably RUDE. I had my two toddlers with me, told the waitress they'll split a milk shake. When she brings me the bill she charged me for two milk shakes. At $5 a piece! I said I only ordered one for them to split, she said because I got 2 kids meals she had to charge me for two. How does that make sense? You made ONE milkshake and put them in 2 cups, not to mention A kids meal comes with a pop, so upcharge me the $2 for the milk shake? Or charge me for the extra cup? She went and talked to the manager, who wouldn't even come out and talk to us. Just flat out said no. Absolutely ridiculous to pay for two adult size milk shakes that came in kids cups. If I knew I was going to have to pay for TWO I want them in the FULL size big cup that they come in. Not to mention I said it twice that they were splitting it. One wanted vanilla , my other daughter wanted strawberry and I said no, were just getting one because you guys are going to split it. Just all around terrible service. I got a salad, 2 kids meals, a saganaki, chili cheese fries, and a club sandwich togo. Bill was $80 dollars!!! Absolutely ridiculous. Granted $10 of that was on the milkshakes that I should not have even been charged for two. So unprofessional and even worse when the manager refuses to come out and even talk to you. I've worked in the reasturant industry for 15 years and this is by far the worst service I've ever witnessed. Not even sure how they have a high star rating , my guess is they are fake or paid for. No way people enjoy this place. Food was gross. With my salad I said no tomato, no onion. Ok saving them money right? I said add crotouns. She charged me $1.50 for 8 damn croutons! I could see 50 cents or even 75 cents. But $1.50? Seriously? Could of subed the onions and tomatoes for the croutons. Don't waste your time or money in this place....
Read moreI’m so sad to leave a bad review, this place has been a great place for so many years. Today I have been very disappointed with this place. I ordered fish and chips with a cup of clam chowder, they brought me a cup of chicken cream soup and wen I tried to complain the waiter told me that is what they consider clam chowder and if I didn’t like it I should not eat it, they served me the smallest fish sticks deep fried with about a pound of grease thick batter, it was so bad that I had to peal the fish out to at least eat something that tasted like a McDonald’s file-O-Fish, the French fries were delicious though. My wife ordered a New York style hotdog and I have eaten in New York but never ever realized that the hotdog was made with stale bread, that bread was so hard on the ends I can imagine Trump could use it to finish the wall, her fries with chili was good unfortunately she couldn’t eat them after her stomach was more upset than Didi after the raid. We wanted to at least bring the pita bread home to try eating it later after we could get our stomach to settle so I try to bite it and lose a tooth, never in my life knew pita bread could get stale. We love Eddy, he’s a great guy and it saddens us that we will not be able to come back with our family because we really take food poisoning seriously. In top of everything I got the waiter come over while I was fishing for my filet inside of the tub of grease and batter and asked me if my file-O-fish tasted good or if I thought it was chicken too. So I ended up paying about $50 for them to try to food poisoning me and took a tooth out. But the fries...
Read moreFirst off for me and my two children for breakfast cost $70. For lunch it's usually runs about 80 to 90 for three of us. The only extras we get are soup. We usually get a sandwich with fries and soup for three of us and it's almost $90 and pops. I feel that is extremely overpriced compared to other restaurants in the area. The food was okay it was nothing extravagant I have returned several times because it's convenient. Our waitress has a sitting for 20 to 30 minutes before she checks on us our drinks are usually empty so service is not the best. Even though I do see the manager or owner walk around quite often but he seems to stop at tables with older clientele versus a table of a mom and two children. Again I only go there out of convenience the food is nothing to talk about it's just regular food a little seasoned but not the greatest I do return because like I said it is very convenient. I didn't even take pictures of the food because it was just regular food it was nothing that excited me and I understand it is a Coney Island but at the same time there's Coney Islands out there that rocket and this was just not one of them and again extremely overpriced I don't understand why I'm spending $70 on a breakfast for three people and we're not getting extras or size or anything like that we're just getting the meals and drinks. Where I can go to other Coney Islands get an entire dinner for four people for $50 or less so I do not like the pricing...
