Zorba's Coney Island — Restaurant in Riverview

First off I am blind. Second I was given unsweetened ice tea with cleaner in the glass. Nice thing about being blind is, I can taste better than most people. This place says it was left out over the holiday. Not a good excuse. At noon on the day after Christmas I am sure I am not the first person to order this by this time of the day. So how does this place make it up to us. By totally forgetting about us. I never got another drink. Never got ranch with my side of onion rings. And to make it all even worse the leave the blind chick with no napkins to get coney all over my new shirt. We were over charged on the bill for French fries we did not want or order, also asked for a extra coney to go. I am surprised the did not spit in it and give to us. But no coney to go. So we did not pay for this level of service. Not after a guy got up and yelled at screamed at my boyfriend to leave. I felt scared for my life. When six foot tall people jump up from the counter to scare a blind person this is not a safe place. So we left called the Riverview police immediately as to why we would not pay for this level of service. We are in the process of filing a complaint with the board of health for this. Also the better business and any other social media platform will be most interested in this report. I am sure I was pretty embarrassing when my autistic boyfriend gave your whole place the low down about how terrible they are doing. I have never dined and dashed or ran out of a restraunt in Riverview afraid for my boyfriends well being. He wanted to leave as soon as he tasted how bad the tea was. HORRIBLE PLACE, ORDERED OVER $20 IN FOOD SEPT 17TH DROVE 20 MINS TO GET OUR FOOD AND 20 MORE MINS TO GET HOME FOR OUR FOOD TO BE BURNT!! I CALLED THE MANAGER AND WAS TOLD TO DRIVE 20 MORE MINS TO RETURN FOOD! WHY WOULD THEY ALLOW THE COOK TO SEND OUT BURNT FOOD. I MEAN THEY WOULD NOT EAT IT LET ALONE FEED IT TO THEIR CHILDREN AND EXPECTS ME TO WANT TO EAT THERE AGAIN. AT THIS POINT I DON'T TRUST ANYONE THERE. THE NEXT TIME THEY MIGHT SPIT IN IT!!! I CALLED AGAIN TODAY TO TELL THEM I JUST WANT A REFUND BECAUSE I HONESTLY WOULD NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN. SHE TOLD ME WE CAN REMAKE IT (I'M SURE IT WOULD POSSIBLE BE BURNT AGAIN) OR WE CAN PARTIALLY REFUND YOU BUT WE DON'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING, SHE'S TRYING TO WORK WITH ME. ALSO SAYING "WELL IM PRETTY BUSY SO YOU CAN EITHER COME UP HERE OR WATEVER" I AM PISSED AT HOW UNPROFESSIONAL THIS PLACE IS. HOW IS IT OKAY TO LET YOUR COOK BURN FOOD AND SERVE IT KNOWING IT IS OVER COOKED AND THE CUSTOMER HAS TO PAY THE PRICE??? I SPLIT THE FOOD AMONGST 4 PPL AND WE NIBBLED ENOUGH AND NOTICED THIS FOOD IS UNBEARABLE TO EAT. IT IS HIGHLY OFFENSIVE THAT THEY WOULD BASICALLY ROB ME OF MY MONEY AND OFFER A PARTIAL REFUND OR TO EAT FROM THEM AGAIN AFTER WE'VE ALREADY HAD CONFLICT. Felt the need to update my five star review from last year. First we got harsh chemicals in the unsweetened iced tea that was given to my blind girlfriend. Then we had to eat our meal with no napkins they gave us no ranch with our onion rings and gave me fries that I never ordered. We were just forgot about the whole time. They say they are busy. Too busy to make sure the ice tea container was properly rinsed out after the holiday. They said they left it out over the holiday. So on our way out the door I told them I did not order half of the items that was on the receipt. He also asked for a coney to go we never got it it was on the receipt so since it was in question I decided not to pay for such lousey serive. Nice touch to the guy who got up and made me and the blind chick even more scared of this place. I worked in the restaurant industry for most of my life and the way we were treated the blamelessness of the whole situation there was cleaning chemicals and my girlfriend's iced tea I took a drink of it myself to make sure of it it burned all the way down. We were not offered anything off the bill nothing free not that we were looking for it but to eat without napkins or a beverage and then expected to still pay is a lot.
