Mom n dad wanted to try this place after seeing some reviews.

The place is very small since it used to be the waffle house, but they've made the most of it to make a very cozy place to eat that doesn't feel cramped. There's no music playing making it better to just enjoy the food and company you may be eating with. I also really liked the little tv with the flamigo saying chill vibes.

My parents ordered the cheestake special and loved it. Came out nice n hot with the bread being the right amount of toasted crisp. I'd tell you more but my parents were too busy enjoying eating it to comment.

I got a slice of the Hawaiian and it's so good. The bottom of the crust was crispy and they used really chunky pineapple and ham pieces with a great covering of mozzarella. One of the women working behind the counter was kind enough to get me a knife when she saw me struggling to eat the pizza (it was still too hot to pick up but that wasn't gonna stop me from trying to eat it).

All three plates, as you can see from the pictures, had large portions that were delicious and well worth the price. If you leave this place hungry it's your own fault.

Sure the food is okay but I was very disappointed and disgusted at the level of customer service I received by phone. I called in two separate orders for me and my co-worker. First, the person taking the order did not listen to what I told her I wanted because when I retrieved the order, we discovered spinach was placed on an pizza and the wrong size given even though I clearly told her at the beginning of the call "small - the 10 inch" and she asked me again what size and I repeated AGAIN "small - 10 inch". Her reply was "uh huh" and then loudly said a number. I said "Excuse me?" And she said "That's your order number". A suggestion would be to tell the customer the order number in a more customer friendly manner, such as "Your order number is..." So, another "correct" pizza was made, but no refund was given for the error the restaurant actually made even after presenting the receipt and bringing the pizza back. This is not a place I will visit again and after a few other co-workers asked about our experience, they may be hesitant to try it as well. First impressions mean everything and customer service is key to the success...

Ordered Cheesesteak, Caprese, beef braciole, and a slice of pepperoni. Cheesesteak fantastic, caprese was light and fresh, braciole was tender and tasty. Very disappointed in the slice as I was hoping I had found a Sunday replacement for NY Pizza. First bite out of the oven was great.. second bite had a very off putting taste. I then noticed a smell similar to the taste emanating for the pizza. I rubbed my finger across the metal tray it was served on and tasted it... definitely the culprit. I notified the guy running the store who did promptly offer a replacement slice or no charge which was a perfectly reasonable and acceptable response that I appreciated. 3 stars until I get to go back and order a fresh pie to do an updated review.

Edit: they've also done a fine job of updating and renovating this former waffle...
